Went there today for the first time. There is a trail that starts in the park that takes you to an original Mason Dixon Line stone marker. An actual real marker. I’m sorry, but to my way of thinking, that is just way too cool. This place gets a 5.

Considering I live only a few minutes from this park, I’m a little disappointed in myself that I don’t come here too often. Once upon a time during my high school years, I took science classes that were run and held here and they were very good quality classes. Even though I was kind of surly angsty teenager, I admitted that I enjoyed these classes a lot. If you homeschool your children, I would absolutely check out the programs they offer here and see if they are right for you and your family. They also have activities for other people, too. In the summer they have concerts on Wednesday’s. I’ve never had the opportunity to check it out for myself, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. The trails are well maintained and very nice. It’s an excellent place to spend the day walking or hiking and simply enjoying nature.

I LOVE White Clay!!! Great place to walk, hike, ride bikes, or take your dogs swimming. I have a great time every time I go and it’s always so beautiful no matter what season!

I love going running/walking through the park. It is absolutely beautiful and there isn’t much/any traffic, so you don’t have to worry about cars when you’re exercising. Since I mainly stick to the foot paths, I don’t really know what else is in the park. There is a river that you can fish in(i think), but mainly it’s just nice to enjoy the surrounding nature in the park.

White Clay Creek State Park is the BEST managed state park I’ve visited across the country. I’ve had the the opportunity to see parks in Utah, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Penn., Alabama, Georgia, Florida… Ok you get the picture… I spend a lot of time in state parks. The facilities at White Clay Creek SP are well taking care of, and park programs are top notch. The trail system is awesome. The Delaware State park system overall is incredibly managed well. Go get outside and enjoy this crown jewel of a park.

This is a great park for hiking, running and biking. All the trails are well maintained and marked so it is difficult to get lost. There are at least 4 large loops that are +/-3 miles each and it’s easy to combine the loops if you want to do more. For biking parts of the trails are more rocky and hilly and it even has a good obstacle course in the northern end of the park to test your skills. It can get a little crowded on the weekends since it is one of the few good parks if you don’t want to travel more so expect other people on the trails. Parking is $ 6 for out of state and $ 3 for in state vehicles for the whole day. Make sure to pay the amount because they do check and will fine you.

Really great mountain biking trails. Diverse, fun, lots of singletrack, ok parking, not too crowded. Mostly wooded, not a lot of field roads. $ 6 parking fee for out-of-towners is a bit steep, but it’s worthwhile.
