Bob’s Taxi of Newburgh

Not impressed. Told me I’d have a cab coming in 30 minutes. 75 minutes later, no cab. If you can’t get someone to pick me up, just let me know. I’ll call someone else next time.

Excellent service!
Expensive, I’m guessing because the Pope was in town, and it was worth it, cause the driver was very kind.

We use Bob’s to take senior citizens on a weekly shopping trip. Typically, they are VERY late, sometimes as much as an hour. The dispatchers are rude and will never tell you the truth about when you can expect the cab to arrive. One more than one occasion, we have called 3 — 4 times and have been told «In 10 minutes» each time.

Unreliable service. Late by over 1 hour. Operators kept saying the car will be with you in 10 minutes. Lost my boat ride and cannot have the cost refunded.

NEVER USE THESE GUYS! I scheduled a cab and it arrived 45 minutes LATE, costing me a plane ticket! The dispatchers kept say he’ll be there in a minute or in five minutes and then threatened to cancel my cab when I got upset. This company is thoughtless and doesn’t care about the customer’s needs!

Disappointing attempt to overcharge us.
We ordered a taxi to Storm King Art Center and were told it would be $ 22. When it arrived another 2 ladies were also waiting for a taxi and we realised we were heading to the same place so asked the driver if we could all ride together. He said sure but it would cost us $ 40 for all 4 of us. We tried to propose paying $ 30 for the journey but were told we were foolish and didn’t understand how taxis worked.
Needless to say we did not use this service and rode with All Family taxi instead.

WORST SERVICE EVER!
Called for a taxi to pick me up and had an extremely terrible conversation with the female dispatcher. She was so bad that I preferred to wait in the rain and snow for a different taxi company. I will not use this service ever again since customer service is not a priority for them.

I would like to give them negative star if I can. We were told to wait 30 mins and it turned out we waited for one hour. They never came and we had to call another car service and we missed our train. The receptionist was very rude and hung up the phone before I finished. Please avoid them!!!

Used them twice and it was OK. Nothing spectaculer but OK. Lately they seem to go down the hill… One time I was trying to get a cab to the specific time to the train station, called in 1.5 hour, was told to call when I’m at the station. Ok I called when I arrived and I was told there’s no cabs available. Another time I called for a cab for a specific time and was told to call when I’m ready, and when I was ready they told be it’ll be there in 40 minutes. Had to call another service. Tried them once again and got the same treatment plus really rude attitude from the operator. No more, thank you.

No complaints.
Driver arrived on time and was friendly.
The car was reasonably clean.

Worst service ever, I have been calling the company to setup a pick up and the dispatcher keeps telling me to call when I’m ready, so I was ready and as soon as I called her back she hanged up on me. I called again and another person picked up the phone, I told him that I was ready and the guys said that he’ll pick me up in 20 min!!! Really!!! My flight was about to leave in 50 min… Obviously I when on my on, when I got to the airport they called me to let me know that the taxi was outside! Are you F***king kidding me!
Advise, do not use this service ever! Rude people! Worst service ever!!!
It is no even worthy to give them a star, unfortunately I cannot give them negative stars other wise I would give them negative five stars!!! (— – )!!!
