Absolutely do not recommend. I’ve dealt with Go Green over the past 8 months at the request of our landlord who selected them. Of the two appointments we’ve required we’ve had over 10 scheduled appointments, 90% of which are cancelled the day before by the company claiming an increase in «emergency» appointments. I gather these are higher paying and they’re more than happy to disgruntle customers like myself who are looking for regular maintenance. I work with companies to improve business processes for a living and I’ve never in my life seen such a disregard for customer’s time (and I’ve worked with cable companies :). We have to arrange our schedules to be home for a four hour window. I’ve advised our landlord that we refuse to work with Go Green given their blatant disregard for customer service. I’d be shocked if this isn’t a pattern amongst their customers. Avoid if you value your time (and based on other reviews, your money)

I would be careful here as their repair people constantly try to «upsell» for things you do not need. When they offer «Free» analysis that really is a come-​on so they can push you to buy. For example, they tried to get me to but a new water heater from them for $ 1,500 when they did the free «flushing» service. I bought a great one from Lowes for $ 600 and they installed it!
Also tried the same ruse for a small plumbing issue.

Go green seems very up front and efficient and knowledgeable. They made a major repair on a severed a/​c line last summer that my builder accidentally injured. They do nice straight forward preventative maintainance. We have a yearly contract with them and the come for winter care on the furnace and spring for the a/​c. No problems with their service thus far.

Service technicians are excellent and knowledgeable, courteous and accessible… but the office gouges on prices and I do not trust them.
In February, we paid over $ 1000 to the company to diagnose an intermittent heating problem. They replaced a zone valve and other part, but the problem was never resolved. Final diagnosis was to replace a circuit board on the air handler, for which they asked $ 900 for parts and labor. I deferred on that last step, and the problem went unresolved.
If found the replacement circuit board online at Amazon for $ 153.
When the tech came again this summer to check the air conditioning, i asked to replace the board. This took 20 minutes, but the office charged $ 155 diagnostic fee. OUTRAGEOUS since the tech was here anyway, and the work took 20 minutes and I supplied the part. This works out to a $ 450 hourly rate for straight labor!!! Really!
I complained the head office, and they said this was their pricing policy. I pointed out I had already spent $ 1000 on diagnosis and that I wanted an hourly rate. The would not adjust the fee.
I think the bottom line is that I feel their pricing strategy is predatory, figuring the unsuspecting homeowner will just bend over and pay whatever they ask. I will find a new service and cancel my contract with Go Green.

Go Green did a great job installing our new AC. They explained everything they were going to do and never pressured us to purchase any more than we needed. The technicians worked hard for 10 or 11 hours and answered all of our questions. Our AC works great.

Confused customer service and lack of creativity – they claim to be «Fuel Neutral. Brand Neutral. Customer Focused.» I can’t speak to fuel, but I experienced 6 weeks of different point-​people, installers and field managers who could only offer one «solution» with one brand and one installation style, despite the fact that there are other options. (Not to mention scheduled and rescheduled appointments, delayed communication, forgotten emails, incorrect emails etc). Put all my eggs in one basket with GoGreen to secure the AC installation during our home’s roof replacement and they’re team failed us. Can’t not-​recommend them enough.

I called Go Green for an emergency service. Technician arrived less with an hour of call. Abbas (technician) assessed the issue and advise of my options. I decided to proceed with the service offered and my new boiler was installed within hours. The tech was very professional, work area was cleaned and he offered an overview of the new equipment. Thanks GO GREEN for the excellent service!!!

Scheduled a week in advance, and boy was I glad, as the weather was getting hot. Too bad Go Green cancelled 50 minutes after they said they’d show up (on the day off I took to accommodate them, as they really don’t do weekends if you’re not part of their partner program).
One other interesting thing – I was quoted $ 2,500-$ 3,500 for a whole house fan. I have no doubt there are fans out there that expensive, but you can go to Grainger’s online and get it for MUCH less. I was just hoping someone could make it easy for me. I guess it’s not these guys.
