I have been a patient for over 10 years. The staff is always very friendly and the hygienists have always done great work. I’ve seen both dentists throughout the years and both have been very professional.

I’ve been a patient of Conejo Dental and Dr. Stanley for 18 years. Great dental office from reception to billing, hygienist to dentist. They are a part of our community and have taken excellent care of me, my family and friends I’ve referred. Great parking. Local Newbury Park location. Happy and friendly front office staff have been there for years and are so nice to interact with. I’m kind of obsessed with my teeth and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have received excellent care at Conejo Dental. Dr. Stanley is very kind and professional. The rest of the staff are always up beat and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Stanley.

5 stars for hygienists and receptionists.
Dr. S was not our regular dentist, but my kids had to see him when Dr. C was on vacation. Dr. S told me that my son has 2 cavities. Since my son had to see his orthodontics next day, I asked the orthodontist to recheck, and was told there is NO cavity. 3 months later, my daughter was told by Dr. S that she has 3 cavities… I didn’t believe him and ignored the office frequent calls for appointment.
I brought my two kids to a new dentist in TO last week. They had x-​ray and thorough cleaning. The dentist came out and told me that both kids (teenagers) did great jobs in cleaning their teeth and have NO cavity at all.
It’s a shame that some doctors would lie to get business. Be aware.

I would highly recommend NOT going to this place. My wife and I went there for about 2 years. On my last visit, which was fall of 2013, Dr. Stanley, who was not my regular dentist (usually saw Dr. Chen) came in after my cleaning and told me I had a cavity that I should get it filled. I have never had cavity in my life so I was skeptical and elected not to have it filled. 6 months later I went to a new dentist for insurance reasons and she said my teeth are perfect, no cavities. Either my teeth have a miraculous ability to heal themselves or Dr. Stanley is trying to make a little more $$$ by ordering unnecessary procedures.
This place also tried to convince my wife she needed Invisalign braces and her teeth are perfectly straight. In my opinion, these guys are the scum of the dental world and should not be allowed to practice at all.

I went to see Henry Chen for my front tooth. That tooth had a root canal 7 years ago and It becoming discoloring and shorter than the other front tooth. I ask him about if i can do veneer for that tooth. He said he would prefer doing Crown on that tooth. I am only 23 years old and i don’t want my tooth grin down to nothing for crown. After that I ask for pictures of his past patients whom had done some crown. It looked so FAKE that I just want to run away from that dentist. Before I even finish my conversation, he want to do X-​ray. WHAAT??? I just came here for the consultation and you want to take Xray? I havn’t even made a decision about doing Crown. So i told them, I need to ask my dad first before you guys do anything. After that, He looks MAD. i don’t care if he got mad or not. I want to look best for my front tooth.
P. S. Please be really careful before you see this Asian dentist because he is so sneaky that he doesn’t tell you before what he gona do. So please be extra careful.
Ask a lot of questions.
Update: I went to Downtown LA. James C. Feng. I had a veneer on that front tooth. Finally. I can smile really wide and show off my teeth.

I currently do not have dental insurance and was given the opportunity to try Conejo Dental Group at a promotional price. I usually take advantage of day spas and restaurant promos but dental?
I decided to give it a try!
First impression was the warm welcome I received from the reception desk! A very genuine, «we are happy that you chose us for your dental needs welcome!» I signed in, gave her my paperwork (available on-​line) and within 5 minutes, I was called into the hot seat. The dental assistant was courteous, prompt and expedient. Dr. Stanley came in soon thereafter and not only was his examination seamless, I was educated on my dental hygiene (I am a very bad flosser but who isn’t?) What do you know, within 1 hour I was DONE! I enjoyed my experience so much that I gushed to the front desk as I was leaving (I believe their names were Cheryl and Tina) that I will send my husband here promptly for his cleaning as well!
Thank you for a great experience! See you in 6 months!

Another ‘as good as it gets’ review for me.
First let me state, I am NO fan of the dentist, or at least prior to coming here that’s how I felt. Now, going to the dentist is as painful and daunting as getting a haircut.
The reception staff is TOP notch… Not only do they call you a couple days before your appointment, but when you walk in, you are always greeted. I find that rare these days.
Dr. Zweig is my dentist, and also a very respected member of the community and not only is he professional, and funny, but he has a passion for what he does. You can see it in the office. All the technology is cutting edge.
I had to get a root canal once, and not only did he get me scheduled with a surgeon who did the procedure (molars, which he doesn’t do), but he prepped me, made the appointment for me, i had it done, and came back to his place.
Now here is where it gets good… Remember I said fan of technology. Most dentists will give you an artificial cap and send OUT for a crown. He has all that stuff IN THE OFFICE. I simply watched as he took pictures of the tooth, and then customized it on his computer. 15 minutes later, he puts a square resin brick into what looks like a small «C&C&» machine and its carving out my new crown right before my eyes. Pretty cool stuff, especially since most people have to do a second visit.
15 minutes after that, he glued it on and i was outta there. GREAT service, great experience. If i could give it 6 stars I would.
This is also a great place for teeth cleanings. I had been there several times and had had different technicians, who didn’t really impress me, but then I was scheduled with Ramon Castillo. This guy was awesome. He not only did a great job but his personality, and demeanor was quite pleasant, considering he had sharp metal instruments in your mouth… Before the conversation was done, the cleaning was done and 45 mins later I was gone.
If you are reticent to go to the dentist… Don’t be… These guys are the best and will provide a pleasant experience.

Raise your hands if you like to go to the dentist. Anyone, anyone… anyone…anyone? I’d rather chew on broken glass. Truly… bamboo through the fingernails.
Having moved, I was forced to find a new dentist. I have to say, I didn’t realize how good it could get until I showed up at Conejo Dental. The difference is Crime & Punishment vs. It’s a Beautiful Day.
The reception staff are incredibly organized. After scheduling your appointment they point you to their website where new patients can fill out their paperwork prior to their visit. Once you are a patient, you can access your account from said website.
It’s kinda in the middle of nowhere, but the office is state of the art. They’ve got tons of treatment rooms. The dentists are all young, as well as knowledgeable. They have this super cool x-​ray machine that spins around your head, so they get a 3-​D image of your noggin and teeth. Prevents you having to go through the tortuous process of gagging on those sharp plastic things they jam into your mouth.
Everyone who works there is tremendously courteous. Laughing gas? Doesn’t matter. Had my previous dentist been this well put together, I would have shown up more often.
