I am committed to family owned operations and my continued experience with Conejo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning only confirms my feelings about this! My 83 year old mother lives in Newbury Park. I, her oldest daughter, live in Virginia. While my mom is able to hold her own I find I can help her with the details. CVH&A has been so helpful with the ‘group ’ conversations. CVH&A installed new duct work in her home in 2015. Upon inspection it was determined that she needed to have this done. They provided us with an accurate estimate, set up the time table to have the work done and helped her finance the work, interest free, to fit into her budget. Everyone at the company has been so professional, kind and goes the extra mile. So rare these days!
Recently she had a new thermostat installed and clothes dryer duct work cleaned. Wow was that overdue! John and Craig were so good! They even used her duster to really get behind the dryer while it was out. They pleased her to no end. John called me here in Virginia prior to their arrival and post visit to update me on what was done. My mom has circled their names on her work receipt to request John and Craig anytime she needs work done. Next time I am out to visit we will assess the maintenance contract options for a couple of her systems going forward. I just know that when CVH&A is involved it will be done in a timely, correct, efficient and professional manner. They will make it right and work with us to do so. I sure wish they were here in Virginia!!!

Today is the third time we have used Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning. We are always pleased with the service. Bobby has serviced our Heating and Air conditioning unit twice, he always diagnoses the problem the first time. He is prompt, efficient and knowledgeable.
We will continue to use CVH&A in the future. I highly recommend them for your Heating and Air conditioning needs!

John Banks came to our home today to perform the annual furnace check, as we purchased the unit in 2014 from this company. John called to see if he could arrive earlier than scheduled (yes!) and was very professional. He took his time to carefully inspect the attic for ducting, walked us through a few options and was very thorough with answering our questions. John was very conscientious about representing Conejo Valley HVAC.

We are thrilled with the work we recently had done by Conejo Valley Heating & Air (CVHA).
We had hired them to do annual maintenance on our furnace and AC units, and during the first furnace maintenance call, the tech asked to check my duct work in the attic (something no other HVAC contractor has ever offered to do.) I went up with the tech to look at my 37 year old duct work, and I was alarmed at how many openings in the duct connections there were, not to mention the terrible condition the duct insulation was in. We were obviously losing a lot of hot (and cold) air into the attic, at quite an expense. Not to mention that parts of our house never heated up properly or cooled well in the summer.
The tech took photos, which he emailed to CVHA, and he suggested that they could send out someone to estimate what new duct work would cost. 2 days later the estimator was there, on time and very friendly and professional and we had a quote in hand. A day later we also got a «competitive» quote, but that contractor didn’t advise pulling permits or having a state or city inspection. We were certainly not comfortable with this approach, and we gladly went back to CVHA and scheduled the job at a very reasonable price.
Within a couple of days later their workers and system designer came in and covered all our furniture, exposed rooms and access halls with plastic and paper, then they worked all day to remove the ductwork and reinstall the new system. They also installed a second vent coming off the furnace to fully capture and distribute the volume of air the furnace was generating. All workers were on time, clean, polite, and very productive (only 30 min. for lunch). The job was done to our complete satisfaction!
A few days later, the owner (Brandon) came himself to inspect the work and to walk us through the process of how to schedule the CA State HERS inspection. The work passed the state and city inspections with flying colors.
What’s best is that now our home is cozy and warm through the entire house, and our duct work is done to code (important if we ever sell the home), as well as completely efficient. What’s more, we are happier than ever with our relationship with CVHA, and are happy to recommend them to anyone who is looking for reasonably priced, friendly professionals to work with.

This company was a great fit for our needs. We replaced our water heater, AC, furnace and some ducting. They even helped us out by recommending and coordinating with a company that fixed the water damage and rebuilt our platform where the equipment was resting whereas other companies were simply going to reuse it with minor changes or as is. We also had special requests for getting our return air ducted. Branden listened to all our requests and came up with great solutions. I also liked that we got one of the best brands, but there was no sales pitch for models that would have been overkill — theirs turned out to be one of the most competitive bids for the project despite other companies offering less expensive brands. We are happy with the outcome and would recommend this company.
They are pretty busy, which is a good sign in my opinion. But I believe it is worth the wait.

I had Conejo Valley Heat and Air come to my house for the first time on Friday. I had George come and repair my heater as it completely stopped working. They were recommended to my by 3 hikers from the Sierra Club and I am so glad I called. I would recommend them to anyone that was looking for someone new.

Conejo Valley Heating & Air just installed all new duct work in my home. The installers are true professionals, incredibly detail oriented and perfectionists in their work. A crew of three men arrived and worked very hard to get this job done, keeping me apprised as to their progress throughout the day. They even left my house as clean as when they arrived, you could not tell they had even been here. I have used Conejo Valley Heating & Air for my A/​C, heating unit, the duct work and all appliances over many years. Would never consider using another company. I’m a fan. Professional service and fair pricing. My heater had stopped working. My control board needed replaced. They provided a quote to repair which I checked and it was fair. They had to come back the next day to get the part. Repair was made works great now. Even replaced my return air filter free of charge, Thanks CVH&A!

Conejo Valley Heating and Air is a local, family-​owned company that has been a part of the Conejo Valley for over 30 years. From the time we called for an appraisal until the final walk-​through, we were more than impressed by the communication of the office staff, professionalism of the installers, and the work ethic which was exemplified. The owner also makes sure that he is responsible for the final walk-​through, verifying the work was done to his high expectations and the satisfaction of the customer. True value!

I contacted CVH&A due to my a/​c not working. A rep came out the next day and determined what was wrong. I had that repair made. 2 weeks later, a/​c not getting cold enough. Contacted company again and rep came out. Due to other issues that weren’t discovered the first time (since a/​c wasn’t working at all), it was recommended that I replace the unit since it was 20 years old. They offered to refund the original amt paid since that repair didn’t actually fix the unit like it should have since there were other things wrong that went undetected until the system had been working for 2 weeks. Therefore, I agree to replace the whole unit which went very smoothly and on time like they stated. Prelim work was done to ensure everything was in order prior to the install.
Based on my experience with CVH&A, I would use them again. In fact, not knowing beforehand, my parents used them as well to replace their heating system with a heat/​ac unit last year and they’ve been very happy as well.

From beginning to end, Conejo Air provided a «Top Notch» service. Unlike other Heating/​Air companies, Conejo Air is a straight shooter. They tell you exactly what is wrong and how much to get it fixed/​installed.
In December, I had Conejo Air installed a new AC/​Heater Unit in a rental property. The owner himself did a prior walk through to evaluate the prep work needed, and provided recommendations prior to the installation. The extra pre-​caution step provided a smooth and «No Surprises» for the installers on the installation day. The installers were very knowledgeable and very professional. They answered all my questions during the installation, and also provided helpful maintenance tips during the day. One of the main reasons why I selected Conejo Air was, they only use their own In-​House trained Technicians and Installers. They NEVER sub-​contract out like some of the other known vendors. If you’re looking for an honest and knowledgeable AC/​Heating Company in Conejo Valley, look no further. They are the BEST! Hands Down!

This is a review update.
Russell just finished with my air conditioning service and maintenance. I had to take the time to write again how professional every person on this team is. Russell changed my filters, inspected every element of my system and when I mentioned it seemed there was cold air coming from under the house he promptly suited up and went for an under the house crawl to make sure there were no loose connections or other cause.
I would guess that under the house crawling is not part of the bi-​annual maintenance the company performs but without hesitation and with a smile Russell disappeared under the house. Good to find out there were nothing but tight connections and no problems (Wally and team re-​ran my ducting in my last review and as expected everything is tight and clean).
I recommend Conejo Valley Heating and Air. I have full confidence in their work, their team and am impressed by their service based attitude.
