Unfortunately one star for a) a sales clerk who sold us a defective battery; b) another sales clerk who refused to take it back, based on the fact that the device(a cordless phone) worked in his store(it didn’t work at our house with the defective battery), and c) insinuating that we were somehow defrauding the store because our photocopy of the receipt didn’t have a barcode on it. We had to call Amex and dispute the charge. It shouldn’t go that far just to buy a battery.

I was in today to get a new phone for my wife. Ryan helped me pick out the phone; activate it, set it up, and pick out a case cover. Thanks Ryan!

I know, this is only a Radio Shack, but they definitely earned this, and this is why, if they continue treating their customers like this, they will be able to thrive. I went in to buy a USB M/F extension cable. The sales rep, Barbara, asked me what my intended use was, and after explaining it to her she suggested a less expensive, two-port USB hub. This turned out to be a much better solution for me, and was quite elegant. Thank you, Barbara!
