The ac went out and we were referred to Christensen HC by a friend, another ac company wanted to replace the compressor and stuff in the attic to the tune of over $ 11,000. Called Soren, was here in 4 hours, found the problem as a leaking valve, replaced the coolant and we had cold air in 30 minutes. I’ll never have anyone else touch my Heating/​AC system except Soren. Great guy, knows his stuff and is reasonably priced. We went from a quote to replace the AC for $ 11,000.00 to Soren fixing it for under $ 600.00. Thanks Soren!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Maybe one of the last honest AC repair guys around. He made it a priority to come see us quick, knowing I have small children who would not do well in a hot house. Christensen Heating and Cooling was a lifesaver for me today (yes…a Sunday)! After waiting all night for my warranty company to try to find someone to fix my a/​c and my son’s health being affected because the house was too warm, I was stressed. The warranty company was unable to find someone so I called Christensen Heating and Cooling at 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning and spoke with Soren. I was elated when he told me he would be at my house not only the same day, but shortly (which was accurate). He was honest, very thorough and informative as to what was wrong with my a/​c unit and made the necessary repairs. My air conditioning is working perfectly! I highly recommend this company! I will be a customer of Christensen Heating and Cooling for life. I will be recommending them to everyone! No matter what time or day of the week, give them a call. You won’t be disappointed!

Another 5 Stars for Soren and Christensen Heating & Air. This latest heat wave (107 in Shingle Springs yesterday) and a PG&E outage put my 25 year old Heat Pump system into a tail spin. So I jumped onto Unilocal and started looking around for someone who could check out and/​or fix my AC. The Big AC business down the hill told me they could be here in 10 days. Another Big AC business up the hill (hint: Placerville) has seven (7) one star ratings in a row over the last two years! So I called Christensen Heating & Cooling. That was yesterday… Soren was at my door today! Sure, he’s a busy guy in the heat, but he squeezed me in. After a through inspection of my system he wasn’t able to find any critical (expensive) issues. The bottom line is my AC system is 25 years old and doing its best to keep up with the heat wave. Soren and I discussed my options for a new system… I don’t need it now, but switching to a new one in the future would have several benefits. Soren educated me has to the issues and pros/​cons. No pressure. I also learned he installs all American made products (Amana for example) which is a big bonus. And his fee for looking at my system was even cheaper than the Big AC company who wanted me to wait 10 days. I found Soren to be professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I plan to give him my business if/​when I have my system replaced.

Soren was awesome!!! My air went out on a Wednesday evening and he was out by Thursday morning. He didn’t jump to conclusions and started at the cheapest of things that could be wrong with my AC. Although it did end up being something more pricey, I know he gave us a great price. Not to mention, my house may have burned down if he hasn’t come and fixed the problem as promptly as he did. I will definitely call him if I ever have another problem!

Within days of contacting Soren we have a new heating and a/​c system installed. Great communication and knowledge, very dependable and trustworthy. Highly recommend!
