Dallas Miller inspected a home we plan to close on at the end of the month. He was incredibly professional and polite. Upon completing the inspection, he did several things. He prefaced his comments by explaining that he’s not there to tell us what we want to hear, he’s there to give the results. He proceeded to provide all of us with copies of the report that he printed quickly on site, so we could read along as he thoroughly explained every point in his very detailed report. He stopped a few times to make sure we understood what he meant.
This report is two full pages of things that we need to know as we proceed with this purchase. Some are big things that we are already looking into, and some are small things that I cannot believe he noticed. Purchasing a home is pretty intense, but seeing such a complete report actually puts me at ease. I feel like I have a complete picture of what is not perfect in the house so we can make a plan to get it taken care of. It also gave us a good idea of the types of things that may continue to be problems so we know what to keep an eye on over the years. He told us more than once to call him if we have any questions, now or in the future.
He is also one of the few home inspectors I found who could do home and pool inspections.
