I’ve been coming to Brian at Engine Dynamics for the last 15 years, and my dad has been bringing cars here even longer. It’s really hard to find a trustworthy mechanic when you are a woman – and mechanics who treat you like a dummy when you are a woman seem to be the norm. Not here. I grew up around cars, I watched my uncles build cars from the ground up, and I learned a few things from them and my dad. I know enough to know when a mechanic is trying to pull a fast one!
These guys have never given me a bum steer. They are honest, respectful and totally trustworthy.

Got my oil and filter changed today. They also rotated tires at no extra charge. What I really liked was how clean the shop was.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly man who asked me how he can help then quickly pointed me in the direction I needed to go. Brian, the owner was so helpful and incredibly honest which as a woman I so appreciate. I trust in him and his staff. I left my car for tire rotation and oil change, went for a quick walk down Main Street in newhall while it was being worked on. It was quick, easy and friendly. They set me up in their system and now I don’t have to worry about remembering when to come back. This kind of service is crucial to a busy mom with a full time job! I’m so glad I’ve found Brian and his team. I won’t go anywhere else!

These guys are really great! They were prompt & professional in every way. Best of all their prices really are affordable for the services they provide & you don’t feel like you are going to go broke utilizing their services. The gentlemen in the front were really friendly & made me feel welcome, not like a customer they are looking for money from. The service I got done today was quick & they did an amazing job. These guys truly are great & it doesn’t have that big franchise chain concept. These guys do pretty much everything. Highly recommend!

I am very impressed with this place. I started going there because my usual place, Tire World is now merged with Engine Dynamics.
Everyone there is very courteous and helpful and I know the car is getting fixed correctly without a bunch of BS or unnecessary stuff being done to it.

Wow what can I say. I have parts that were replaced at Firestone to pass my smog. They charges me 82.00 dollars for an 02 sensor for my s10 truck. This part was already replaced and I gave them prof with the original work order from Firestone. How crooket can you be to charge me for the same part. This is robbery and I will never take my truck to them ever again. I have prof that this has happen and also my RPM are running way to high. I will take my business to someone who cares. Take my word people stay away from engine dynamics.

I love this place! I have been using Engine Dynamics for around 6 years now. I have found them to always be very honest and upfront with me regarding which repairs I need to do right away, and which things I could maybe hold off on. I have an older car with a lot of miles on it. I am a single mom, and I always have to prioritize things in my budget. Brian has never steered me wrong. The prices are reasonable. I had new motor mounts finally put on my car today and my car runs smooth as silk! Thanks Engine Dynamics for keeping me and my car moving!

First, I have to say, it’s been financially tough lately. I put off doing my brakes until today, when they were scraping and sounding horrible. My daughter referred me to Brian at Engine Dynamics and he along with everyone there, was great. I’m still not financially sound, but they made sure I got the best deal on the pads AND rotors AND calipers I needed because I waited so long. They also made used tires available so I had a bridge until I could buy new. They provided a loaner car and they finished my car in one day. And they were incredibly nice! I recommend Engine Dynamics!

I came in with a smog problem. I dropped my car off before they opened. Brian saw me leaving my car and asked if I needed help. I planned on coming back when they opened, but he got me set up instead of eating his breakfast.
He called me mid morning with an estimate of what it would cost and have me my options. He got the problem fixed and I feel he sincerely tried to keep the cost down for me. There was an extra part that was broken, but I expect things like that.
I think these people complaining about the way they’re treated are some typical Santa Clarita folks that just can’t be pleased. I felt I was treated professionally by all employees here.
By the way, this is not a fake post. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you go here.

I initially spoke with Brian by phone on a Wednesday, and he informed me that he couldn’t see my vehicle until Monday. This was fine except for the fact that he was very gruff, hurried me off the phone, and acted as if he couldn’t care less. Monday comes around and he is exactly the same in person. I decide to let it go since it’s a warranty issue with Napa and this is who they recommended. After holding on to my vehicle the whole day for a simple diagnosis, he tells me over the phone it’s something else not related to the original repairs. I have somewhat of a mechanical background and I disagree since the leak is coming from the same exact part that was removed, repaired, sealed, and put back into place. Hmm, interesting huh? Did I mention that he always acted like he didn’t want to deal with me and my warranty repair? In any event, I’m told I could get a second opinion. I say something to the effect of sure thing and leave it at that.
When I arrive to pick up my vehicle, it’s still up on the lift even thought I was told it was ready to go. At this point does Brian take any time to discuss or show me what he thinks the issue is? Nope, instead I’m subjected to 10 to 15 minutes of watching him bumble around as if he doesn’t know how the lift works. Finally, he gets another guy and the two of them put my vehicle down. Keep in mind this was the end of the day and nothing else was going on. The last wonderful thing this guy does is slam my Jeep Wrangler hood down very hard. This was extremely unprofessional, and of course my hood prop no longer lines up properly. Has this joker ever worked on a JK, or does he just not care about customer property? Enough said…

Brian and his guys do a great job. Fair prices and he will not rip you off. However, they’re always busy! So call beforehand and Brian will tell you the best time to come in!

I needed breaks and I had a lead in my exhaust.
Before going to Brian I went somewhere else to get a quote. They told me I need a new CAT Convertor and it would be about $ 2,000
I went to Brian for a second opinion and I was very happy I did. He got my car done in just a couple of hours and he only charged me $ 200 for everything!
He was nice, very well priced and did the job very fast. I will definitely be going back to engine dynamics.

For anyone looking for an HONEST mechanic, this is the place to go. Brian and his staff are amazing and extremely fair when it comes to fixing your car. I know that this is where my cars will be coming for all service needs. He just put tires on my wifes car and matched a price I was quoted in the valley, saving me time and money!

Brian revived an old school truck no one else could fix/​find the problem. But Brian did. He also did so – for a reasonable price and in better than reasonable time period. He re-​did the whole engine in less than a week. The truck that used to die all the time… no longer does. Hasn’t for months. BRIAN: MAN OF HIS WORD! Really happy.

Just got new tires at engine dynamics. Brian was great to work with and very easy going. The service was great and I am very happy. If you are looking for an HONEST mechanic which seems hard to find these days, Brian and his team will take care of you.

Honest, wonderful, kind. I always dread going to the mechanic because they typically treat me like an idiot (which I am, when it comes to cars). But Brian never treated me like that. Has a loaner car he would let me drive. The last time I took my car to him he even looked at it for free before telling me it would be another $ 1500 repair (on a VW — pretty common) and that was the end of me and my old car. Once my new car starts breaking down, I’ll be taking it back to him. He’s seriously the best.

Fair, Honest, Dependable, Brian has worked on my truck for years, all minor things and routine scheduled maintenance and services, but I have never had anything bad to say about him or his shop. TOTALLY FAIR on their price, and super sluth’s at diagnosis of problems. Usually good fair honest dependable are not words easily used to describe a mechanic, but his family has been doing it right for years. and I hope years to come. I highly recommend this place, weekends are busy there so get in early or make an appointment. they can do it all, smog, engine swaps, trouble shoot, electrical, suspension brakes, from bumper to bumper they have you covered. trust these guys they know what they are doing and not out to rip someone off.
there is passion in what they do. Oh one last thing, they use high quality parts. after all thats the way to go, get the right part for the right car, not some universal one fits all deal.

I have had my cars worked on at Engine Dynamics since I started driving. I have had nothing but great experiences there. They have the most amazing prices on tires and are very honest over all. I know I can trust my mechanic and that is saying a lot.

Brian and his crew have worked on all three of my vehicles (Ford, Chevy, and Dodge). I always receive great customer service. The work has always been done right, the first time. And the rates are fair to good — priceless if you figure in getting it done right the first time! This may be one of the last, honest, independent, shops around. I recommend Engine Dynamics to anyone!
