David and Jody are the best in the business !! The millions of emails I’ve sent them they’ve responded almost as soon as I’ve sent it. We just did our engagement pictures and they came out better than I could ever have imagined! They’re very lovely and personal photographers and I would recommend them to anyone I know who’s getting married!

We have been using Dave and Jody for our annual family photos for over 20 years! Our holiday cards always look great and I have a wonderful collection of family and individual portraits adorning the walls of my home. I’m certain we will be using them in the near future for a wedding or two, or three ;-)

Jody and David are simply the best! They were front and center for our entire wedding day… the pictures came out amazing and the picture book came out even better! They are not just great photographers; they are great people and an inspiration to be around. They recently just did our first born son’s newborn baby photos, they turned out so amazing! They are great with kids and have amazing imagination with their photos. They are able to capture every moment, angle and vision that you desire. I would highly recommend these two lovely people to anyone. They made our wedding day so much easier and they now have brought our baby to life in these photographs. We used their photos for the baby announcement and they came out amazing! 5 Stars for Jody and David!

When my son and his wife were planning their wedding, they asked me which photographer to pick. My answer was simple — R&R Creative Photography. Wedding planning is stressful. You want everything perfect! And when the day is over all you have are memories and your photographs. For these reasons you want to hire the best and there isn’t a photographer around that fits this description better that R&R Creative Photography!
It all starts with meeting the bride and groom informally for their engagement photos. This gives David & Jody a chance to get to know the couple in a relaxed setting and learn how to capture their love in the best way possible! This fun session lets everyone know they will be in good hands come wedding day. R&R will go just about anywhere to give you the first glance at their beautiful artistry so be creative in your choice of locations for added excitement.
R&R will meet with the bridal couple and parents beforehand to insure no family member or friend is left out of the festivities. So when the big day arrives — you can actually relax and enjoy spending time with your guests!

You NEED to have R&R as your wedding photographers! You will not be disappointed! They are such friendly people to work with, very professional, always on time and their work is AMAZING! As someone who was in 5 weddings before my own and 2 after I can tell you the photographer is THE MOST important part of your day.
My husband and I were married in February this year. (yes I’m a bit late on the review, but when you go and get pregnant that’s what happens) We had the best time with David and Jodie. They made our day so special and the photograph process never felt like «work», which was not the case in some of the other weddings I have been in. I felt relaxed my entire wedding day, which not many brides can say.
My advice is do their signature «first look», you will be SO HAPPY you did! Getting this done along with most of your photos BEFORE the ceremony takes away so much pressure and stress. Also it gives you more time to enjoy those appetizers and drinks during your cocktail hour and mingle with your guests. Ladies (and superstitious men) don’t be worried about him seeing you before you do the walk, trust me he will still smile like a fool and cry while you walk down that aisle.

Our wedding was Friday September 11, 2015. If I could give David and Jody more than 5 STARS I would (10 out of 10.) They are just terrific people and the most talented photographers. During the process of finding a photographer for our wedding we came across R&R Creative Photography. My husband wasn’t too convinced. He was convinced he could find someone else that could do the same quality work for less money. Boy, he was wrong. In most cases you get what you pay for and it wouldn’t be wise to place a gamble like that on your WEDDING DAY! They are VERY reasonably priced. Go see for yourself! I am so glad Dave was there to answer all our questions and convince my husband that they were the right choice and FIT for us. It is more than just hiring a vendor. You want to have chemistry with them too! If you don’t get along with your photographer or don’t feel relaxed and comfortable around them, then your pictures will sure show it! Dave and Jody are so pleasant and easy to work with. Most couples get to know their photographers during their engagement session, but that wasn’t the case for us. However, even though we didn’t do an engagement session with them, we got along so well the day of our wedding. It was like having extended family come over and catch up with us. We LOVE them both very much! They don’t just do the bare minimum. They will go ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet all your needs and requests. I booked 2– PHOTOGRAPHERS and instead got 3 for my wedding because they brought along a lovely young lady. There was more than enough coverage for our special Wedding day. Just thinking about everything they did for us that day brings a genuine smile on my face. Please take the time to meet with them and hopefully you book them right away! They definitely have all my future business.

Such an amazing couple to work with! They were fun yet professional. We absolutely love our engagement photos. They came out beautiful and our friends say it’s really us in the picture. They were able to fulfill our request and working with them is such a breeze. They quickly respond to any questions we may have and booking appointments with them was also easy. Will definitely recommend them to our friends.

David & Jody are the first vendors that my fiancé & I booked for our wedding. We knew we had a popular date (¹⁰⁄₁₀) and since they were our first choice for photographers we had to jump on it! –One of the things you will love about David and Jody is their warm, friendly personality. While I have no problem being the center of attention, but fiancé is a bit more apprehensive. The most helpful thing we could have done was following David and Jody’s advice in taking engagement photos. Their vibrant spirit brought out the best in us and our engagement session was a great opportunity for us to «loosen up» before the big day.
–They help take the stress out of planning our wedding by providing great recommendations for other vendors. You can feel the sigh of relief from our vendors as we reveal that we are working with expert photographers who know how to keep the day on track.

Bravo to Jody and David for not just setting up great shots at our small winery wedding, but also for calming me down… a nervous bride for unfortunate reasons that were no fault of my wonderful photographers. In fact, I would have walked down the isle with my train half pinned, if not for Jody!

They captured sunset and winery photos and found ways to make me laugh and smile since it’s difficult for me to pose naturally for photos. David and Jody are truly amazing photographers! I have looked at all pictures of our wedding and I am going to have a hard time picking out my favs for our album. They caught every moment so beautifully. This was one vendor that I could say it was worth every penny!!! They caught all the funny moments throughout the night of my son, which are some of my favorite pictures. These pictures are the memories that were captured that we will have for life. I highly recommend them for your next wedding and engagement photos!!!

R&R Creative photography cannot be beat. Jody and David have been doing our family photography since 2000. They have photographed our kids Bar & Bat mitzvahs. Both kids engagement pictures and now both kids weddings. The pictures have all been amazing. Our daughter got married at Calimigos Ranch over the weekend. We have only seen 1 picture, but that 1 picture is incredible. Even got to see Jody laying in the dirt to get the best shot. We highly recommend R&R Creative photography for all your photo needs. Our pictures have come out so amazing. We have so many people that have commented on how beautiful the pictures have come out for both the engagement photos and for the wedding photos.
Dave and Jody have been doing photography for years and the quality definitely shows. I know Photoshop can do a lot to make a photo look good, but their skill with their tools cannot be manipulated with a computer application. Also, when it comes time for the composition of the photo book, Jody is a master. She will run it down as to how she does what she does, if you want her to, or you just let her do it. Either way, you will see the phenomenal results that come about from what they do.
They care, not just about how the pictures will come out, but also about your satisfaction as a customer. A quality that didn’t seem to matter to some of the vendors I met with. One in particular made me feel like he was too good to do my wedding. You won’t get that with Dave and Jody.
On our wedding Jody was hurt, but she hobbled around as much as she could with her soft cast. She’s hilarious. They had their friend Amri there, another fun person to be around. We really made a great decision going with them.
We had a great time with them also. They are such a cute couple.
Like I said about the other Vendors we had, they care about you and your happiness, not just about getting paid. It comes through in the quality of the photos and the genuine smiles they will get from your family.

As a person who’s non-​photogenic, it was rough trying to find a photographer who would take great photos with someone who doesn’t necessarily like taking pictures. I was so lucky to find David and Jody, because they’re truly two of the most incredible photographers (and people) I have ever had the opportunity to work with. From the first meeting, David was welcoming, informative, and made us feel very comfortable. We checked out his previous work via their website at
and through his albums at his location.
David really goes over the value of having two photographers and staying with you all day, and this proved to be one of the best decisions we made. We had so many beautiful photos from all angles, because we had a family team with us. The first time we were photographed, David and Jody met us in Malibu at Paradise Cove. Surprisingly, my (now) husband and my rigidity disappeared, and David & Jody made it a really fun experience for both of us. After taking a few shots, the husband and wife duo would walk over and show us a sneak peek of the breathtaking photos they took. I am still amazed at how incredible those photos came out.
Fast forward to the wedding – David met me at the Hyatt (where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready) while Jody and their son were at Robinson Ranch with my husband. David took a few photos of us getting ready, and off we went to the venue. The Ross family took photos of every moment of our day, from the first look to the last dance. It’s true when people tell you that your wedding day flashes right before your eyes, and I’m eternally grateful that I had the best photographers there to capture every moment and every emotion of that day.

I’m not huge on writing reviews on Unilocal unless I’ve had a wonderful experience with a company. Well here is my review. David and Jody have captured some of my most memorable times in my life. From my wedding to my sons first pictures and everything in between, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with such important times in my life. Not to mention the most beautiful shots I’ve ever seen (and their of me!) They have been nothing but professional and easy to work with throughout all 8 times of documenting our life. I am so lucky to have not just best pictures but to have such talented, genuine photographers in my life. I can’t wait to see what they capture next! I love them!!!
