Steve’s Florist does beautiful work and you will always get personal customer service! On the day of my daughter’s prom, I realized that I never ordered flowers. In a panic, I called Steve’s Florist and spoke to Steve himself. He assured me that he had some beautiful selections still available and matched the color of my daughter’s dress. He was wonderful! On another occasion a few months ago, I stopped by Steve’s florist to get some advice on how to lead a Flower badge for my Junior Girl Scout troop. A very nice woman there gave me a quick lesson on the variety of flowers and then even wrapped up some flowers to donate to my girls to be used in the lesson! I can’t recommend this place enough!

I have ordered flowers from Steve’s Florist before and they generally have done a great job but Mother’s Day 2016 was a different story. The flowers that were delivered were underwhelming compared to the $ 150+ cost. I called thinking that a mistake was made and they said it was the correct arrangement and that was that. The arrangement did not live up to my expectations nor did the customer service. I may look around for a new florist.

I just had the most beautiful rose wrapped so professionally by a lovely woman at the Steve, s Valencia Florist. It was fast, expertly done and the service was friendly and top notch! I will definitely be back in the near future.

My husband is thoughtful, romantic and loves to shop! How lucky am I??? For our 8^th wedding anniversary he ordered a beautiful arrangement from Steve’s and it was delivered to my work. The gal that brought the. flowers was so sweet and along with the flowers she brought a specially designed box that would help be bring the flowers home with me in my car. The flowers were fresh and perky! The arrangement last a full seven days and the vase was not only substantial, but very pretty! I think he found his new go to place to send me flowers, I’m a very happy woman!!!

So beyond appreciative of the service we received as a walk-​in order. A spur of the moment decision, they were able to put together a wrist corsage for my niece to wear on her preschool graduation day. The flowers were beautifully arranged and my niece loved them. Thank you!

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS HERE! I ordered flowers directly from Steve (the owner!!!) and he promised they would be delivered to my dear friend the same day they were ordered. Not only were they not delivered, I received no phone call given me the heads up that there was «a problem». The «problem» was they couldn’t reach my friend by phone so they unilaterally chose not to deliver them!!! All this despite Steve having my phone number and the recipients phone number — quite simply the flowers should have been left at her front door. HORRIBLE BUSINESS

They did my wedding! Everything was absolutely beautiful and just as I imagined. Also, pricing was extremely reasonable

Steve’s Valencia Florist has been my go to florist for many years, but they will never be my florist again. They used to have great customer service, but that’s gone. They used to make breathtakingly beautiful flower arrangements, but that’s gone. The only thing they kept is their ability to take my money, and I need more than that from a florist.
I went to their website and ordered an arrangement (C7−4843) for my mom. From the photo on their website I could see it had a very distinctive style with willow branches curved across the top of beautifully arranged flowers. I’ve ordered distinctive styles like this from Steve’s before and they’ve always been gorgeous, so I was shocked when I saw what my mom received. It looked nothing like what I ordered. No willows over the top and no real stying or arranging to it at all. It looked like a bunch of grocery store flowers had just been stuck in a vase. I have to wonder if they even had an experienced flower arranger do it.
I called Steve’s and the person who answered the phone clearly did not care about my concerns as a customer. She said «well the colors are the same.» What? I spoke with the manager, Jan Hanauer, and she was very rude and dismissive. She said she would deliver a new arrangement later in the week and would pick up the first order then. I agreed, but within an hour, someone went to my mom’s and asked for the delivered flowers back. Four days later they delivered another arrangement and it still wasn’t anything like what I had ordered. Clearly, they are no longer capable of delivering the customer service or the quality they used to deliver. So, they will no longer get the business they used to get. Plenty of better florists in the area. I’m gone!

Steve’s florist team made us our dream bouquets, boutonnieres, floral wreath centerpieces, and ceremony arch for our wedding day on August 3^rd, 2014. Truly they were such a pleasure to work with. They are kind, patient, informative, as well as thoughtful of our budget. They even allowed us to bring our own floral foam and rhinestone pins to save money. We ended up spending just under 2k for everything-​much cheaper than neighboring florists we looked at. They are the type of people that want their flowers to impress, and if they feel additional flowers are needed to make the flowers look right, they add them in. That’s the kind of people you are working with. Setting up was such a breeze– at least from our end (and our venue was very strict with when set-​up can begin). They were at the venue before I was, setting up flowers in the rain and making sure everything looked perfect.
They brought their own floral arch and delivered everything for us– All we had to do was break down the arch into pieces at the end of the day and bring it back at our convenience. The flowers themselves were gorgeous– so soft and romantic. They lasted very well through the night’s festivities. I had some unusual requests which they were totally flexible with (I’m not a fan of ivy and didn’t want any ivy or leaves in the arrangements, lol). They also seamlessly recreated the floral arrangements to look identical to photos I had given them– in fact it was even more beautiful. They even accepted our lanterns from us and arranged to pre-​light them and set up each one within the floral wreaths.
Truly they were so accommodating and caring. I had the most magical, fairytale-​inspired wedding largely in part by the ambiance that their gorgeous arrangements brought. Thank you so much from my entire family for everything you all did.

Steve’s florist made an absolutely gorgeous standing arrangement for us for a memorial. We had ordered one from another florist, and it was delivered several hours before the services started but was dying in only 2 hours. We called Steve’s, explained our situation, and they made a beautiful arrangement and delivered it all before attendees arrived. I will only ever use Steve’s again.

Had to last minute shop for leis for my 5 year old sons graduation. They were so helpful and sweet there. They were honest and discounted them because they were a week old. I would have paid more then what they charged because they were beautiful leis. They were very accommodating and when I came in the day after for pick up they not only greeted me by name but sent there well wishes to my son by name. So glad I found this florist. Definitely going to continue to get all my floral arrangements from them for future events.

We received exceptionally beautiful floral arrangements and top quality plants from Steve’s Valencia Florist sent by friends to honor our father. We chose them to do the flowers at the memorial service and the church looked fantastic. Jan and staff have a keen eye for design and quality. I recommend them highly and will use them again.

Much better options out there. Kind of a rude staff so I guess they think they can treat customers bad because they have enough business. Do yourself a favor and travel down the street to Bloomies.

Steve is the nicest man. I have been ordering flowers from them for years — whenever there is an anniversary/​birthday/​valentines occasion that demands flowers.
I always tell them what the occasion is for and any personal details that will help and then they blow me away with their flower creations.
No regrets, and those who have taken issue with anyone at this place need to take a breather — if you visit a flower shop the day before a holiday or big event, give them a break, they are making a huge effort to fill all of their orders.
I would recommend this store to everyone and will return.

R U Kidding !!! People need to lighten up! Steve is funny, kind & always a pleasure to do business with. He always has what I am looking for & the product is always top quality and great pricing! You need to find appreciation for someone who has been in the business a long time & doesn’t take life so darn serious. Steve’s Florist has been and will always be my go to florist!!!
Much appreciation for doing your job so well that, we the customer, can rest easy, knowing you are a one stop shop for all our floral needs!!!

Day before Mother’s Day my son and I went into Steve’s Flowers to order a boutonnière and corsage for his Prom for the following weekend. There was a sign on the door (hand written) that if you were ordering for anything other than Mother’s Day, come back Monday. I had my son with me and walked into Steve’s to show him what I thought we should order. They were nice enough, but told us they did not have time to take our order?! In this economy, who in their right mind sends paying customers away? After shopping all day with my son, I would have paid whatever to get done. After they sent me away, I checked around with other reviews and placed my order at Bloomie’s down the street. Won’t be going back to where my business wasn’t welcome. Hey Steve’s — I am the customer. In business, you are supposed to cater to my needs, I am not supposed to cater to yours. SMH!

What seemed like a great place to go get flowers since i always pass by it on the way home, i encountered a very un-​welcomining attitude.
The day i first went i was told a certain price for a set of flowers for my prom, and i told the lady i would be back tomorrow to pick those flowers.
I came back and was told a higher price by the owner, and later told to get out of his store…
Since then i’ve been going down the street to bloomies, super nice staff!

Steve’s Valencia Florist provided all the flowers and floral arrangements for my wedding. They did an AMAZING job at a reasonable price. They let me buy my own vases for the centerpieces online at a bulk discount price, so I saved a whole lot of money there. I also brought in photos of what I wanted, particularly some of these very beautiful flower balls I wanted for the ceremony and they duplicated it perfectly. I also ordered an orchid at every place setting and was blown away when I saw that they beautifully placed extras on every table around the centerpieces. They went above and beyond my expectations. I was a very very happy bride! I believe I paid a total of about $ 2,500-$ 3,000 for 17 centerpieces, 8 bouquets, 12 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, 14 flower balls, 2 extra floral arrangements, rose petals for the aisle runner, and 170 orchids. I used mostly white hydrangeas, green orchids, Kermit mums, and other white and green fillers. I highly recommend. Don’t let their old school feel fool you. If you bring in contemporary looks, they can duplicate them (:

I was looking for some spider chrysanthemums on a Friday evening to bring to someone, and after calling the florist I usually use and then two others, Steve’s was the only one still with some.
The lady on the phone said they were closed but to come on by anyway and she’d wait for me. When I got there she had all of the ones they had left already laid out on the table so that I could pick the ones I wanted from out of them. I quickly picked the nicest ones and she arranged a very nice bouquet for me for no extra charge.
I tipped her and thanked her. The conversation was very friendly and the service was a pleasant surprise.
I will use these guys again, I am sure.
