For my first time a bit disappointed. I had the fried seafood platter and there was a whole lot of batter. The shrimps we’re the only good thing. The tilapia was not seasoned and the batter was bland. Our waitress was really nice though. Hubby had the kebabs and again underseasoned. I will give it one more try and reevaluate jc

Love the chicken tenders. I know, so basic but they are fresh battered juicy chicken. The drinks are fabulous. The staff was nice. The atmosphere was pleasant, friendly, up beat. The location is good. The prices were affordable, especially for the quality of the food.

Amazing steak and amazing garlic potatoes. Our waiter was wonderful and he played along to my family’s banter even though we are crazy sometimes. I think the food really is amazing. The only thing I don’t like about it is that there is no side menu or vegetable menu; They tell you what it comes with and you have to ask what other things they have which is limited

My wife and I were passing through town and happen to stop here. Totally worth it, and even though it is out of the way from our home we will most definitely be back. It was THAT good. Friendly staff, great drink selection, and all the food we had was delicious. Thanks Wes and all the fun staff.

We had been here when it was BBQ and were not impressed, so we were not sure what we would get. He had a Bourbon Street Strip steak over rice and asparagus with 3 large shrimp while I had mahimahi done the same way. We shared a tiramisu which was probably not made there but it was heavenly. The bruschetta appetizer was very flavorful, but the bread could have been a bit crustier or toasted. Our waitress, Annie, was stellar and knew her stuff. $ 65 for two. Not bad.

Went again the other day. It was not like the first time. The food was sub par. In fact not even sub par it wasn’t good at all. Table cloth was dirty. The only good thing was our server he was great. That’s why I gave it 2stars because of him. Spoke to a friend that went recently also she also was disappointed. Guess we won’t be going back.

Big Joe’s is an amazing little spot that I would like to inform everyone about! IT IS NOT YOUR TRADITIONAL BAR & GRILLE! don’t be fooled by the exterior, this is a place to bring your kids, your family or a date! Extensive wine menu, homemade cocktails, excellent service and Big Joe himself is always around to thank you for your patronage! So much craft beer that is forever rotating, high quality spirits and the best gyros and crab cakes around! All we need now is some falafel!

Great food and great atmosphere! I stopped by this little gem on one of my trips to Newnan, GA (30 miles south of Atlanta) and it was a pleasant surprise! The food is nicely prepared and the desserts are so good! Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area!

Great food, great service, great beer pricing. Loved visiting from out of town. Food exceeded expectations, only slight downside were the stuffed mushrooms that were still mildly cold in the middle, but still really good. Will definitely be back when visiting Atlanta again.

Just got back from Big Joes for the first time. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, and my wife had the shrimp and grits while I had the steak tips. Everything was great. Way beyond our expectations with the presentation of the plates and the outstanding service. Anjel who took over a few months ago came out and talked to us for a few minutes and told us his plans for upcoming menus and special events. I can’t wait to go back and try the gyro and the reuben. Can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant. The prices were very fair for the amount and quality that you get. I also heard the salmon was incredible from a friend of mine.

Bringing the family back for dinner again tonight. I’m having a Reuben and onion rings this time. This is really the best Reuben I’ve had south of Atlanta!
Tried the stuffed mushrooms for the first time tonight. As hard as it is to believe, it tastes better than it looks! The drink of the night (crafted by Kate) was «Taste the Rainbow.»
You really owe it to yourself to check out the food. All bars have booze, but the food here is what keeps me coming back!

Appetizers. Wings, hummus and veggie grape leaves. Good portions. Hummus garlic, tahini. Next Thai Shrimp and a Joe’s bourbon burger.

Well it is Tuesday and the specials are Tipsy Tuesday Margaritas fro $ 2.99 and 3 tacos from $ 6.99.
Margarita were strong and favorable. I have the beef jerk taco and blacken fish tacos. They were outstanding. Each one was drizzled with a spicy ranch sauce with and mix of avocado, cilantro in mixed with onions and peppers. Service was over the top. I would recommend big Joe’s bar and Grill the next time you’re in town
