This is by far the best local, fresh fish ever! Had the Poke’ and it was delish, along with the Ahi salad, which was awesome! You need to try this place, you won’t be disappointed!

It was my first time going and it will probably be my last…
Parking — street parking but it wasn’t hard to find a spot.
Service — they brought out our good on time but forgot my friends good. We had gotten our food for about 15 minutes before he got his.
Food
— Poke: I was really excited to try the poke since i had heard so much good things but it was just ehh. It was kind of bland and just ehh.
— Burrito: Ehhh — it just wasn’t good. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good. There was not much flavor.
— Fish Plate — again, it was bland. My friend didn’t even finish his plate, which says something because he usually doesn’t have leftovers.
Overall — service was ehh; food was ehh; i wouldn’t go back.

It kills me that I have to give Bear Flag 2 stars. Yes the service was good (1-​star) but the Poke was just OK (1-​star), and as one naturally compares your current experience to previous experiences — I have definitely experienced much better. 2.5 maybe?
Walked up to the truck, looked over the menu, and placed my order. I had the Poke bowl (Ahi Tuna Poke, Rice, cabbage-​slaw). I REALLY wanted to like it, but the poke was just not flavorful, the cabbage-​slaw needed seasoning, and I didn’t eat the rice. Thought it may have been a one-​off, so ordered half a pound of Poke only — still the fish needed seasoning — a little chilli flake, salt, soy, wasabi — anything that would bring this great fish to life; alas, nothing…

The taco truck was at the Great Park Friday Night Happenings. By 745 they announced they «would no longer be serving». THEY HAD RUN OUT OF FISH! The fish tacos and burritos my be great. I wouldn’t know.

I really REALLY wanted to like this food truck. Unfortunately, the service and prep times were just so long that I could just not overlook. I got in line at 12:07PM when the truck was in front of my office building and did not get my order until in until 12:36PM… That’s a full 29 minutes of just standing in line. The horrible part was that the line was not terribly long… It’s just that the cooks/​staff stopped taking orders during that period. From the time I ordered until I got my food was another 10 – 15 minutes. While I know that good quality food can’t be rushed, spending 40 – 50 minutes at a food truck just to order and get your food is pretty ridiculous.
The portion sizes were fairly small and the the food not very impressive. I felt that the portions were even smaller than what you get at the actual restaurant. Unfortunately, I will have to give this truck 1-​star. Hopefully, they can get their act together since I really love the Bear Flag restaurant.

I was happy to see a bear flag food truck in corona today because I always crave their poke. There wasn’t anyone in line so I ordered and got my food right away within 5 minutes. Even though they’re mobile, the taste and quality of the poke weren’t compromised. I didn’t mind paying the $ 6 but I was sad the portion was small. That’s usually how food trucks roll though. Thanks for going mobile bear flag!

Bear flag has the most amazing fresh fish!
In person, they have excellent customer service, however, because they always have long lines, I typically call in my order. Routinely, I am placed on hold for minutes on end and I always have to call back to finally have my order taken. I will continue to come to Bear Flag, but I have to think they must lose some customers when they do this.

Great new food truck! I tried the shrimp taco and the fish taco and both were excellent! Very fresh and flavorful.

OMG! I had no idea that Bear Fish Flag Company went mobile. Another one to add to my every growing lists of food trucks! Saw them recently @ a show in Long Beach and had to immediately have their poke bowl! Combo of ahi salmon and tuna Please! Yum! Just as fresh and flavorful as they have @ the restaurant. Instant gratification! Just checked out their site and it looks like facebook is the only way to figure out where they’re going to be.
