Kristine did an INCREDIBLE job on my Botox last week and I started seeing results after only a couple days. It was my first appointment with Botox and she gave me a thorough explanation of the most effective areas for it on my face. She told me where and how often I’ll need it going forward. She was so kind, sweet, and calmed my needle nerves.
The receptionist staff were lovely, very friendly, and accommodating. My appointment started on time and was quick but didn’t feel rushed at all.
I will definitely be making the trip down there from LA for future appointments.

DO NOT GO HERE. Unprofessional office staff, they have no respect for your privacy. They are in violation of HIPAA and I am in the process of making a formal complaint. The doctor made an obviously crooked digital image of my proposed results, and when I pointed it out he was rude. Don’t waste your time

Believe what you hear through the NPB grapevine about this doctor and his staff! I have been getting fillers done for some time now and as a former resident of Beverly Hills, I’m used to the best plastic surgeons in the US, unfortunately my move to Newport has had me on the hunt for the past 5 years for a plastic surgeon locally as good as the ones up in LA. I’ve tried a handful of doctors here in Newport that always seemed to try to up sell me things I didn’t need, nor want to have done or would overcharge me or go overboard with injections. I have been hearing about how great Dr. Ackerman is for a few years now… So finally as I’ve had enough of trying newport doctors, I figured I would take one last roll of the dice and book with Ackerman. My only regret is that I have waited this long to see him. I’m interested in having facial work done, but just went in today for Botox. After hearing amazing things about Kristine, I booked with her through his office. Unilocal & Google her, you will see her outstanding reviews, all true!!! Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, but makes you feel at ease and is incredibly knowledgeable & asks specifically what kind of look you are going for. I felt safe with her seeing that she herself looks amazing with her own work to herself. You wouldn’t want your hair done by a stylist with a crappy cut, why should injections be any different? She was lighting quick with the needle and only iced me a minute before hand, zero lidocaine!!! Which was a first, I usually have to get numbed up and still feel the needle, but NOT w/​Kristine!!! I didn’t feel a thing and left the office without a numbed up face! Even more perks! But the biggest surprise. I thought I would be paying double what I was charged. I can’t say enough good things about her. In addition, I was running late to my original appointment and although fully booked two weeks out, she was able to squeeze me in the next day. And Ashley that runs the front office was nothing but nice and understanding about my schedule conflicts as well. Thank you Kristine! I’m so happy that I’ve finally found an amazing person to do my fillers and a pleasant and friendly staff in the heart of newport, which isn’t easy to find!!!

Kristine is excellent and honest. She has been the only person to do the botox right and it ends up lasting twice as long. I don’t know why but I suspect that other places might have diluted the formulas. She is really honest and doesn’t try to push me into doing more than I’m comfortable with. The office is really nice and the staff has been genuine inside and out.

I am writing on the results I have seen, myself, from a friend of mine who had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Ackerman — it looks fantastic! Even when the cast first came off — it looked phenomenal.

Brilliant surgeon who did some reconstructive work on my face. This doctor can perform miracles. The office staff Ashley, Sophie, Maria and Yessenia are professional, friendly and go out of their way to calm nerves. I have seen Christine work with the fillers and she works magic with her needles.

I went to Dr. Ackerman for a little rhino procedure about a year and a half ago. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. He’s known to be the one to go to for the procedure and for good reason. Couldn’t be happier with my results. The final look is elegant and natural, and I have no visible scars as the procedure was closed, which is bonus for olive and darker complected patients. I experienced very little downtime and had very little discomfort (I’m a baby so even the slightest amount of pain would be moderate). While the bruising around my eyes lasted for a few weeks to a few months, I felt better w/​in a week of surgery. Dr. Ackerman’s talent is accompanied with a compassionate and honest bedside manner. The procedure is life changing. Would I recommend Dr. Ackerman in the future… Absolutely! My only regret… not finding him sooner.

Purchased a Groupon recently after reading reviews here on Unilocal.I was skeptical if this was going to be disappointing, only because I have worked for a Plastic Surgeon before. I have to say, the RN Kristine Taylor was so amazing! She was great to talk to, she has a great number of years behind her knowledge, she was fun, etc. etc. etc! I absolutely loved this experience and the way she administers the treatment, didnt even feel anything! She was so gentle! My botox worked with in two days and I love how it came out. I did receive a coupon to go back and got invited to their Christmas party, which I will definitely go to. Go see Mrs. Taylor, I promise you wont have a bad experience! A big thank you to the front desk staff, you girls were so great also and friendly.

I sure hope those of you who were burned by Sea Breeze Spa regarding the Botox offer went to Amy at Dr Ackerman’s (Newport Beach Laser and Plastic Surgery Center) instead. What a pleasure.
The office staff was pleasant and helpful. The office was lovely.
Never did I feel like a second class patient due to using a coupon. Amy was sweet and gentle and did not rush the precious fluid of youth into my forehead. I opted to purchase an extra 10 units which I got for a dollar off the usual price of $ 10. pu.
They accept Brilliant Distinction points, thought I don’t know if you can use them in conjunction with a Groupon, I doubt it. They did give me my 20 points though and a coupon for my next visit.
This is how it’s done people. Customer Service with a smile and a great attitude.

Amy does the best Botox injections in OC!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Love the staff! Very friendly. They even remembered me after a 18 months!!! I have my 4^th visit on Friday and even though they were booked, they were able to accommodate me!

LOVE the amazing staff and nurses all the girls are just genuinely nice sweet and not to forget the most Amazing Doctor ever!!!
