I have shopped NB finest consignment shops for over 20 years! I came upon this one a few years ago. My first few purchases were of higher end clothing items and shoes. My last purchase was a pair of Louis Vuitton Sun Glasses and a few other items. After only a few months the glasses broke and came apart at the lense area. Since my husband works in Beverly Hills, I had him drop them off at LV on Rodeo Drive to be fixed. I received a call from LV letting me know that the sun glasses were NOT authentic and that they would be unable to fix them. I called Chez Elle and spoke to the owner/Manager… who defended her position that they were indeed authentic and would not give me my money back? I then went down to the shop to get my money back and the owner/manger refused to come out of the back room to discuss the issue. The female employee said the owner was going to «contact the seller/cosigner and get back to me.» I left the broken sunglasses at the counter and never heard back, nor received a refund from the shop. I paid; $ 175.00 for faux LV sun glasses. Heaven knows what other faux/replica items they are selling to consumers. STAYAWAYFROMTHISSHOP!

Before we relocated, my office was just a few streets down this store. One day during lunch time, my coworker and I decided to walk over there and check it out. The cashier was SO rude to us! She never greeted us, just followed us around the store and acted like we were going to steal something! Eew, who would want to steal dirty used clothes anyway!!? The clothes, bags and shoes were not in good condition either. Yes, a lot of them were brand name but I’d rather shop at Target than in this place!
