DAVE TAX

Dave was recommended to us the old fashioned way. (neighbors) Dave is solid tax man with a great personality and even better advice. He has saved us his fee in finding us solid deductions. Like most Tax places he puts in the hours in March & April to squeeze us last minute filers in but he does it with a smile. He goes above and beyond by checking in throughout the year and answers any questions along the way. I can’t recommend strong enough!

I had to write this review simply because when I called for an estimate, he told me that my needs were simpler than his firm handles, and that his price was going to be higher than the competition. Even though that was the case he still was happy to spend 10 minutes on the phone with me helping me with information on how I should find the right tax advisor for my needs, and was able to give me a ballpark estimate of what it should cost me.
He made great suggestions on what I should do, even though he was not suggesting that I contract with him for services. To me, this is the mark of a good businessman. I ended up using his advice and found an appropriate tax preparer for my needs. On the phone he was clearly very knowledgeable, and seemed to be the kind of businessman who values his reputation highly. He answered his own phone, he’s registered as an EA, and if my situation was more complex I don’t think I would have hesitated to hire him.

My husband and I have been going to Dave since 1998 with phenomenal results every time. The one year we got audited, Dave sat with us through the whole thing and we walked away paying nothing. I can’t say enough wonderful things about his knowledge of the tax code. And as a bonus, he’s a really nice guy. I recommend Dave to all my friends and family. Thanks Dave!
