Description

Specialties

I have been in business for 29 years, providing individual nutrition counseling for binge and emotional eating, food addiction, weight management, diabetes, PCOS, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, gluten free diet, GERD, low FODMAP diet, food allergies, menopause, wellness, heart disease, cancer prevention, and other medical concerns. When working with clients, I utilize a holistic, non-diet lifestyle approach with scientific evidence based principles.

I also offer nutrition counseling for the MTHFR Gene mutation, methylation defects, nutrigenomics, and 23 and Me interpretation.

History

Established in 1985.

In 1985 I began my practice working in an office with two physicians. Since then I have worked in hospitals, corporations, residential and outpatient treatment facilities for eating issues, addictions and wellness, in addition to my private practice. In 2004 I was awarded Fellow Status by the Academy for Eating Disorders, the only dietitian or nutritionist to receive the award in California.
