I always look forward to my monthly facial with Elle at the Facial Lounge. She is amazing, very knowledgable, professional, sweet, and always makes you feel special and gives the best treatment using the best products! The facility is very clean, its located within the Shape Up Lounge in Newport Beach, so you get to use their steam room, which makes the experience so much better and it’s so much more relaxing! The entire team goes far and beyond the call of duty to make you feel special and well taken care of! I would highly recommend Elle and the Facial Lounge… thank you guys for all that you do!

This place is the best in CA! I have struggled with acne for years and am now 100% acne free thanks to Facial Lounge! I always used to have blemishes and now I don’t and I feel totally ok not wearing any make up. I also look about 5 years younger (no joke)! These ladies are magic! Their products are the only products I’ll use!!! So even if you don’t get facials get the products! You will not be sorry! TRUST ME!!! You will thank me! You will be addicted to their products and their services!!!

The facilities are very nice here. It’s tucked away in Newport Beach inside a gym called Shape Up… Very Newport Beach. Anywho, I really like facial lounge. I had been looking for a good place to get facials consistently so I had been trying out places I got off living social deals or groupon. Finally, I found facial lounge. I’ve been getting facials with Amber and she’s great. She is very knowledgeable about skin and how to fix it. My skin has been looking a lot better too. I’ve been using the products that they sell also and they are very good. Depending on if you buy name brand products, the products you can get from facial lounge are cheaper and fresher because they are made for Facial Lounge specifically. I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone :)
Oh you can come use the steam room before your facial too. I haven’t tried this out yet, but maybe on my next visit.

It’s been so difficult finding a good facialist in Orange County. I prefer my facials to be clinical in nature. Meaning, I like the full on exfoliation, thorough steaming and extraction, face/​eye masks for hydration, facial massage to stimulate the skin and microdermabrasion. My skin is actually fairly decent save for the occasional blemishes. I usually go to Raya in LA and they do a fantastic job. I walk out of there literally glowing, fine lines diminished and with tighter skin. Raya’s facials are literally like non-​sugical face lifts. They are that good. But, the drive to LA can be a drag. So I thought it was time to try someone closer to home.
After seeing the Unilocal reviews, I decided to give Facial Lounge a try. I ended up booking an appointment with Elle, who is sweet as can be. She was very gentle and accommodating. The customer service was excellent. They were gracious when I said I was running ten minutes late and they provided chilled bottles of water.
However, I have to admit that I was not all that satisfied with the results. The facial was more of a «relaxation facial.» You know, the kind where they do a lot of massaging instead of actually working your face. The extractions were largely ineffective. My pores were still clogged and blackheads/​whiteheads were still there. In fact, I found myself having to extract several whiteheads when I got home later that day. The microdermabrasion was haphazard and uneven. In the end, Elle really was very sweet, their prices are quite reasonable and they use great products; but I sorta felt like I had wasted my time and money as I would still need to go to another facialist to finish the job. Such a bummer especially considering everybody gave this place such rave reviews…

This place is absolutely amazing! They make you feel completely transformed! There is literally not one wrinkle on my skin and it’s so wonderfully soft. I cannot thank Elle enough for making me into a goddess!!! Thank you Elle!!! Thank you Amber! Thank you Christi!!!

Amber is the best! She is so knowledgeable about skin care, and the facial was amazing! My skin has never looked or felt so good. I highly recommend making an appointment with Amber!

Facial Lounge provides great facial services and skin care products!

I highly recommend the Facial Lounge at CDM! Great facials, Micro and peels. I’ve been coming here for the past six months and my skin looks good. I love all their facial products as well, I only use their brand of cleansers, moisturizers and night cream. I would recommend any of the Estheticians, they’re all very good. So far I’ve had great facials from Elle, Amber and Lindsey! I recommend a facial once a month for best results. Sally H.

I have been searching for a regular place where i can get my facials done, so i came to the facial lounge at Shape up, my sister gave me a group on gift for this place and i was kind of hesitant, I went and had a facial with Elle (Who is a beautiful person inside and out) after my facial with her, I thought there must be a place closer to my house and an even better place than the facial lounge. i do major research before i settle down with anything or anyone. i went tried other places for 4 months, I tried a total of 6 other in Orange County. i didn’t find another place as promising, as honest, with wealth of information about skin, and with quality staff and products like the facial lounge at Shape up has to offer. I came back to the facial lounge, got my membership. it’s been 6 months and I am in love! Elle and Amber equal AMAZING

Had my first facial here with Amber today. I was very happy and pleased with her knowledge. I have very sensitive skin and she knew exactly how to take care of my skin. My face felt great afterwards. I have not been one to get regular facials but thanks to their fantastic membership deal I will now be a regular customer. Thanks Amber for all the tips on skin care. Now that I have crossed the 50 mark, I need to preserve my skin. After telling Amber I had neck issues she took the extra time to also work on my neck. A perfect relaxing Saturday morning.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and I love it! The whole facility was recently remodeled and looks amazing. No matter who your facial is with, it will be awesome — Amber hires the best! I’ve had Amber, Lindsey, Elle and Kersti. Each one is very knowledgeable, kind and professional.
I recommend arriving early to take advantage of the gym and sauna. You won’t regret it!

The Facial Lounge has a great monthly membership program where you can get one facial per month for $ 59! I first starting going to Amber because I was having problems breaking out and getting my skin to stay clear. We switched my makeup and face wash and I could instantly see a difference. She is so good at knowing what my skin needs and has a ton of great products to offer. I have also gone to Elle and she is equally as great as Amber. I would highly recommend the Facial Lounge to anyone!

Had a phenomenal facial with Amber today! The treatment room is relaxing with comfortable heated tables. Their skin care products rock and their service menu is extensive. It’s conveniently located inside Shape Up Fitness. My friend had her facial with Ella, we highly recommend both of them! Great experience!

I swear by Ambers facials! My skin has drastically changed since I have been seeing Amber at Facial Lounge, formally know as Shape-​Up Day Spa. I love nothing more than to head over to the Facial Lounge at the end of a long day at work. Micros are the way to go! Oh and, a body wrap!

Facial Lounge. best facials & products. They put in the extra time to give your skin the best care. My face has completely cleared up with Amber’s facials & her products. I love Soothe & Defend and the pore clearing cleanser. The eye cream is the greatest I’ve tried. and I’ve tried SO many. Wrinkles are gone.

Previously known as Shape Up Day Spa but with their newly renovated facility came a new name! I was referred to this spa through my wedding make-​up artist Lynn Simpson. I have been getting my facials from Amber who I say has «magic hands» She is skilled, passionate and full of advice on what I can do to keep my face clean and clear. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and my skin is always glowing after. I would come more often if I lived closer but am so happy that I know about this place and can conveniently book an appointment online. I can’t wait to go back :)

I’ve been coming here since before it was remodeled and renamed, but the services have remained stellar throughout. Amber, the owner, is such fun and she knows so much about skincare and gives great advice on skin care and products. I’ve also had facials from Elle and Krista and probably some others, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. I usually just go in and let Amber decide what to do with my face that day, and I’m never disappointed. The membership program is such a steal too. They use a lot of Epicuren products, which I absolutely love, as well as products from their own line which are great. Love this place!

This place used to be known as shape up day spa and I have loved it here for years! I received the best facials and micros at the most reasonable prices. My friends and I thought it was our little secret place.
Now it’s remodeled, renamed, and gorgeous. I usually see Amber, the owner, but I have also seen Lauren and Lindsay for micros. Across the board, my skin looks great from all 3 girls. Nice epicuren and in house products, knowledgable staff, and seriously a great value compared to the other places in town. The secret’s out…
