There are some outstanding physicians in this group and the facility is beautiful, however, the organization is so poorly managed that it is difficult, very difficult, to access care. Over the last year I have experienced issues with lost records, erroneous referrals, which have resulted in me taking time off work and showing up for treatment only to find that I was not referred for the correct treatment. I believe this organization has grown too big too fast and the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I am sad and frustrated because I like the doctors but their admin procedures and undertrained staff make seeking care a nightmare.

Dr. Elizabeth Yanni is my internal medicine physician (also a pediatric specialist) and is the best you will find in Orange County. I found her on the Hoag website and have been a patient for 2 years. I was going through a really hard time this year with medical issues and she was very comprehensive and got me to see the specialists I needed to see to get better. She is very supportive and even called me at home to check up on me. Most importantly she cares about you as a person and wants to make sure you are healthy physically and mentally. I have gotten appointments short notice and did not have to wait long in the office. I would highly recommend her as your primary care provider.
