Okay, we had Chili Cheese Fries, Corn dogs, Funnel cake, deep fried twinkies and a pretzel. The pretzel, 0 stars. But the rest of the food was the best I had eaten all day! Beat the pizza place(which was good) and the sugary tacos(awful) we had earlier. We also had a smoothie. The only downside is a caloric overdose! But with all the walking and other activities we did, we were able to burn a few off. This will be my No. 1 place on my next visit.

This place was absolutely awful. My hubby threw his two corndogs away after taking one bite(which he also spit into the trash). This is saying something too because my hubby’s the guy who eats anything and everything on a 8 year-old’s dream diet. I was looking(& still am) for the health inspection letter grade which was absent from the window. I imagine it should be «C» at best. I can’t believe they cook food in that place and then have the nerve to serve it after charging people…

It would be nice if the server here spoke English. She got our order wrong, had to ask for the receipt, I reviewed it and we were also overcharged. She seemed very annoyed when I pointed this out to her and asked for a refund. there were 3 adults and 3 children I ordered for — ordered ice cream on a stick known as balboa bars, corn-dogs, cheese on a stick & a couple lemonades. Rude, floors were filthy, overpriced. Not a good experience. Corn-dogs, cheese on the stick & lemonade were tasty though — but, not so good that we would return — a corn dog is a corn dog afterall.

I wish there would be more fair competition in this area. It’s true that this place has a large junk food selection, but even by junk food standards some things lack. The churros are good, hence I gave two stars, but the microwaved pretzels are just horrid. Honestly, they tasted like recycled tennis balls. After two bites we threw them away. The other problem is the prices, they are very high. I am a regular in this area, but I think I will do my best to skip this place from now on, it’s just not worth it.

This place is seriously awful. I went with my brother after day drinking at Class of 47 to get some snacks and EWWWWWW. Super dirty inside with flies everywhere. We got lemonade and chili cheese fries which somehow came out to $ 14. Being in my boozy state I didn’t think much of this. The«lemonade» tasted like water with lemon bleach. The chili cheese fries were meeehh not bad not great. Very unhappy with this tourist trap crap and I would give less starts if I could. The other Janes Corn Dogs by Sharkees is better.

Corn dog corn dog corn dog corn dog. It’s a freaking corn dog stand. Not really anything to brag about, and not a whole lot to complain about. Went here on a Sunday afternoon after taking the ferry over from Corona Del Mar. They have a fantastic location, which explains their prices. Keep it American and add some cheese to that dawg!

This place looks cute from the outside. Thought we’d go on a nice spring day to get ice cream. Purchased two push ups for the kids. The ice cream was so old the wrapper was sticking on the top of it(didn’t see it until we opened it). It was at least $ 5. When we showed the woman she didn’t want to let us exchange it, but then we convinced her. Second one same thing. Exchanged it and realized her stock had to be over a year old. I can’t believe the health department hasn’t shut this place down.

I bought one single soft pretzel. It was $ 3.75. Upon purchase the quiet lady behind the counter opened the freezer, took one pretzel out of many, and put it in the microwave. I’m sure I’ve had my fair share of freezer food in my day, but for the love of god, don’t make it in front of me. By doing that you are just insulting my intelligence especially for $ 3.75. $ 1.00 would be reasonable. I can’t speak for any other item, but at least have the decency to make freezer food where I can’t see it.

Horrible place!!! I went there to get a corn dog and nacho’s. they did not get my order right and when I politely told the woman I asked for a corn dog and nachos not a corn dog and chili dog. that woman got mad and when she served me she practically threw my order on the counter!!! she was mad! she was a trip. no customer service skills at all. I will never go back.

Stopped in here to get something to drink and was put off by it’s lack of cleanliness. The offerings aren’t much to boast about either. This is like a small stand that occupies a corner of one of the small buildings here and they sell various snack items and treats. I ended up purchasing a bottle of water, but with so many other small businesses that are selling like items and products, you can probably find better establishments to get this type of fair food merely yards away.

The Food Here Is Overpriced, and Not That Great, But It Is Near An Awesome Pier, Corndogs are About All They Service, I would Recommend this place for a Quick Bite To Eat With The Kids, but other Than Than I’d Stay Away if You Desire Something a Bit Tastier.

(+) corn dog w/cheese ( — ) fruit flies in the relish container… Ickkk Yeah, that’s pretty much it. It was the first food shop once we got off the ferry and I was starving so I got a corn dog. Saw the condiments section and… yeah, I’m never coming back ahah

ahhh! This place is dirty… and the girl who took our order did not look like she wanted to be there. my bf and I were needing a snack before we got on the boat and happened to stumble on Jane’s Corndogs. My bf got the chilli cheese dog for I believe $ 2.99 and I got a regular dog for $ 2.69. I went to condiments area and there were small flies surrounding the mustard and ketchup pumps. I was disgusted and decided to get the little ketchup and mustard packets. I was looking for relish, you can’t have a hot dog with no relish! I asked the employee if they had any and she said no, but she had a packet of mayo! =/ On the good note, this place offers deep fried twinkies for those lovers out there for I believe $ 2.50 ish. I have never tried it before, and just seeing those flies just made me not even want to try and order their deep fried twinky. *Tip: Your total must be over $ 5 to use your debit/credit

This place sucks. Corn dog was limp and soggy with oil. Also this is the first time I’ve ever had a bad funnel cake. Seriously how do you screw up funnel cake? It had a sour taste. Bad batter? Threw most of it away. Stay away from this place.

BESTCORNDOGSEVER. ANYWHERE. If you like corn dogs(or even if you don’t think you do), you MUST have one here. Just a dumpy little shack with crappy service, but you are going for the dog, not the ambiance. Right by the carnival stuff by the Balboa ferry. Delish!
