I just took my husband to see Dr Ettefagh and while we were talking, she noticed something about my left ear. She took a closer look and told me I should maybe have it biopsied… right then and there, we decided to have it biopsied and she gave me a full, thorough skin exam. The biopsy results just came back abnormal and now we are having the mole removed. I just want to say that she went above and beyond. I am glad we saw her and not sure what the other Unilocal reviews are all about. I will say, that when we called to make the appointment initially that there was apparently an earlier missed appointment with a $ 50 charge but the office waived it. I am glad we found her!

When I was a sophomore in high school I went to Dr. Ettefagh for bad acne. She prescribed me Minocycline(also Minocin). My acne did get better, however, she never told me that it was a possible side effect that a person could get light blueish gray spots all over their skin and that it would turn your gums blue. At this time I bruised easily and felt terrible and fatigued almost all the time. I went to numerous doctors before Dr. Ettefagh thinking she, of course, would take me off this medication if being on Minocycline would be harmful to my skin and my health. The medication gave me a false negative on a blood test saying I had an auto-immune deficiency, but at the time I thought the test was positive. So, I finally end with going to Dr. Ettefagh, and I tell her what has happened and she explains that my symptoms are from the Minocycline and that I should be «happy» because«some people get it on there face.» She then tells me that I was just on the medication too long, which at the time was almost two years. I am now a junior in college, and I still have the blue spots all over my legs. This certified pysician with a degree cannot tell a 15 – 16 year old girl that they need to be taken off a medication, or at least switched to another medication, because of the health risks and the risk of having an altered appearance.

Called to make an appt. I wasnt able to make the appt. I called again to reschedule and they advised there would be a $ 50 fee to reschedule the appt. since I did not show up to the last one. From the initial appt. I was not advised of the fee. $ 50?! how can you justify that fee, maybe 10 nut 50?! First time customer — will never return to that business. Worst way to welcome a new customer. I will spread the word. Thank you for nothing
