Lemon and Honey Day Spa

My husband gifted a facial for my birthday. I didn’t have any expectations when I booked the appointment. I don’t get too excited over pampering myself so it took me a couple months to book the appointment. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by my first name. Pretty cool as I’ve never been before. They provided me with hot tea in a nice/​soothing relaxing waiting room. Then your esthetician takes you into the facial room once she’s done prepping. You climb into the warm bed and it’s ahhhhmazing. I mean, at that point the facial hadn’t even started. Needless to say, my facial with Cassi went great and it included a shoulder massage. Yes!
I’ve since been back for waxing and another facial. If you’re looking for a place to relax at a reasonable price I would absolutely recommend their basic lemon and honey facial. For me, that’s all I need.

I really enjoyed my facial with Paige and I think my skin definitely looks better. I would have given it 5 stars if online appointment booking was a lot easier. I made a first appt online at midnight for the next morning but received a text and email denying my appt as it could not be accommodated. this was understandable since it was a late notice. I booked another one for 2 days out. My appt was accepted later that evening but then I had to go back in and confirm the appt. Then on the day of, I got a call asking whether I wanted to change the appt for an earlier or later time. Just seems like quite a bit of hoops to jump through for a firm appointment. And I had originally booked with Cassie but was given Paige instead when I got there. I ended up happy but if I truly had a preference, I’m not sure that un-​informed switch would have gone down very well. Other than that, service was great and truly did enjoyed my facial and the results and would go back.

I found Lemon + Honey through groupon. I purchased the L+H facial and upgraded with the Glycel peel. Amanda preformed my service, and she is amazing! She customized my facial and addressed my issue, my skin looks great. She also recommend a face wash, I love my face wash and use it 3x a week.
The spa is super clean, quite and easy to book an appointment.
I love Amanda and the services so much that now I come in each month for a facial. She is sincere with your service and what you need and a blast to chat with!

Had another amazing experience at Honey and Lemon!!! My last 2 facials were from Rebecca, who is amazing, and today I had an OUTSTANDING facial from Paige;)

I am a terrible person. I’ve been neglecting my skin.
I used to be really good about getting facials once a month, but in SF, that sh*t gets expensive. So I switched to trying to do it all myself because my life was in transition and I had neither the time nor desire to fork out $ 150+ for a facial with mediocre estheticians.
Now that we’re back in Orange County, land of the beautiful, I decided it was time to take care of my skin again. To be completely honest, I only booked a facial with Emma at Lemon and Honey because they did online appointments, a huge plus in my book because I don’t always have time to call for an appointment until after business hours.
Loved this cute little spa that has a bevy of services, including tanning, waxing (though no sugaring), massages and facials. All the products Emma, who is just the sweetest, used on my face smelled SO amazing. I ended up signing up for their membership, which knocks about $ 20 off a facial each month (3 month minimum), and this will get me back into a routine, knowing that I basically am pre-​paying for my service each month.
Highly recommend Lemon and Honey for all of your beauty needs!

I was looking for a place to get a facial while I was on vacation and glad I chose here! Emma was awesome. (For those not from the area, it was a little hard to find at first But worth it for sure!)

I got a groupon for 2 European facials and had them both with Cassi. She’s super sweet and made me feel comfortable from the start. I love how the treatment includes a shoulder and arm massage with hot stones as well. A little aromatherapy is also incorporated into the facial. The only negative thing would be is that even though I came early to both of my appointments, I didnt get the complimentary foot soak. Definitely come here to get pampered!

Absolutely beautiful place. I received a gift certificate for my 30^th birthday from a friend and had a massage here back in January. It was a gorgeous spa and extremely good treatment. The whole experience was so relaxing.
I will be returning!

I found this spa while browsing on Unilocal and let me tell you, from the moment I walked in and was warmly greeted I was already in love with the spa. They first sat me down in the super cute «retreat room», where I relaxed and filled out a very small release form, followed by a hot foot soak. My esthetician was Paige, I was overly pleased with my service and was excited to finally get a better understanding of my skin type. I’m typically a shy person but Paige made me feel vey comfortable and answered all of my skin care questions followed by lots of useful advice. I feel like the facial was very customized to my skin type! After a week of using my new Eminence products I feel like there has been a positive change in my skin. Thank you Lemon and Honey Spa for the wonderful spa experience I will definitely be back for another follow up facial wish my new and trusted esthetician.

Loved this place! Got a groupon for it. It’s so cute and cozy! My facial was the best and soooo relaxing! I loved everything about this place and I’m definitely going to be a coming back for more treatments!

Both of my facials were with Cassi and she is awesome! She was really informative about my skin, told me what would help, and made some product recommendations but wasn’t overly pushy.
Definitely recommend coming here for some «me» time and a great facial!

Amanda is the best aesthetician I have ever come across. She is absolutely phenomenal! I have followed her from Huntington to Seal Beach, and now here. I will follow her where ever she goes. I assure you she is worth every dollar! I love her!
This spa is my favorite of all the other places she has worked. It is quaint. They are very accommodating. Their receptionists are excellent on the phone and I am always greeted with a smile and a foot soak. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place. I have had a facial with Cassi and massage twice with Desiree. Both were incredible and attentive to my needs. I have had some sciatica issues for well over a year and half and my massages with Desiree have helped greatly to get me up and running and feeling normal again. The staff was also friendly and booking was easy both times I’ve been here.
The actual spa is in a nice location, too. It is tucked in a business complex away from the main street and any noise. Parking is located in the private lot in front. The spa itself is clean and kept with excellent hygienic standards.
There’s a $ 75 for $ 100 Unilocal deal for Lemon & Honey (as well as others) so give it a try! You won’t regret it, I know I will be back and have recommended this place to my friends, too.

this review is for the owner (rebekah).
i was due to buy another set of 3 massages last week, but something just didn’t feel right about continuing my relationship with this spa after being treated so poorly by rebekah.
in all honesty, it takes A LOT for me to say bad things, let alone write a bad review about a business. if you look at and read my reviews here, you’ll see that i have a lot of appreciation and praise for the businesses that i’ve taken the time to review, including this spa.
i would say 80% of my check out (and maybe one check in) experiences at this place were unpleasant. there was always a snag and/​or delay of some sort. records weren’t kept right, appts were not booked as previously agreed, i was told that i needed to pay for something that i already paid for previously, etc. nonetheless, i shrugged the uncomfortable experiences because i do understand that human errors happen, and sometimes, miscommunication (including on my part) can cause misunderstandings. also, the therapists whom i frequented (amanda and desiree) were such sweethearts always, that any negative experiences were far more outweighed by my experiences with amanda and desiree.
HOWEVER, when i finally had the unfortunate experience of being spoken to by rebekah (the owner)…wow.
we had actually seen each other maybe 2x previously when she flat out ignored me. i figured she probably had a lot on her mind having to run a business while also providing services herself. someone was already helping me too so i figured no big deal. but, i’d be lying if i didn’t admit that it didn’t cross my mind that rebekah saying «hello» or reciprocating my smile at the very least, couldn’t possibly take too much time and energy from her day.
on the first occasion when rebekah finally spoke to me, it was about the 3 massage pkg that i had previously purchased. rebekah kept insisting (while cutting me off!) that i had no more massages left. this contradicted my records so i shared with her my mental notes (since i didn’t have my calendar with me).
i finally asked rebekah to please talk to amanda (one of the most efficient, knowledgeable, professional and sweetest person at this spa) and david the receptionist (who i later found out no longer worked there). i also offered to check my calendar and take note of dates of my previous visits and call rebekah back so that we can compare and discuss.
i called rebekah within 2 days and the same thing, she kept rudely cutting me off and speaking over me, while insisting that i was wrong and therefore needed to buy a new set of 3 massages already. really?
rebekah, i was involved in every single transaction and visit, while you were not, yet you knew more about my history than me? hmm. you’re also demanding that i pre-​pay 3 massages for future visits when i still had pre-​paid massages for use.
i do very much understand that when multiple people are involved in a transaction, records and notes can get misplaced, overlooked, and/​or confusing, but pls don’t automatically assume that you are 100% correct when you were never part of any of my transactions, plus your dates did not make sense.
at the very least, pls take the time to speak with your staff members in order to get all of your information collected first, then go ahead and compare your notes with mine. seriously, it wasn’t nice of you to confront and treat me the way you treated me in person and over the phone.
i’ve forgiven and overlooked sooo many negative administrative experiences at your spa, but my experience with you had me questioning how much you really cared (if at all) about our business relationship. this is why i couldn’t get myself to call back to purchase another set of 3 massages at your spa last week. why would i want to deal with the same negative experiences over and over knowing that you, the owner, don’t even value our business relationship?
no doubt, i’ll miss amanda and desiree, as well as candace (whom i had the pleasure of receiving a massage from the last time i visited), but as far as i’ve driven to be loyal to your spa (25 miles and approximately 1 hr on the road each way) and seeing how much you don’t care to reciprocate understanding and respect, i’m finding that i am needing to look for another spa to call «home».
i’m really sad to have to write this, but leaving my original 5-​star review without updating it would be deceiving the public and Unilocal community. i hope that you take this review constructively and learn from our experience. i definitely have, so going fwd, i will always have my pre-​purchase notes and dates in hand so that i will never be treated like how you treated me when i visit other spas in the future.

My bestie and I had a GREAT experience at Lemon & Honey!!! She had found this place because they carried Eminence line… what a treat, we had the Eminence Organic Facial, 90 mins of pampering, I fell asleep!!! It was amazing. so much so I booked another one in one month. I has Cassi, amazing… she has Amanda, and she like her too. Can’t go wrong with this place, check out Groupon or Living Social for NEW customer deals.. If not, get the Unilocal deal! $ 75 for $ 100!

Found this place through a groupon deal and was surprised I was able to book online. I even found an appointment the very next day for the time I wanted. The whole appointment process was very easy and they promptly responded with a confirmation.
I’ve had a good share of showing up to a spa to find out that the place is old and dinky, but not here! This place was modern and new, with a very relaxing atmosphere. I loved it the moment I walked in. The facial room was also very spacious and had a comfortable bed as well.
I had my facial with Cassi and she was amazing! I told her my skin concerns and she did a great job of making it better. She also knew I had a wedding coming up so she sent me with home some samples that will help my skin glow for my big day. Thanks for being thoughtful!
Will definitely consider switching my monthly facial membership over to this place.

I found Lemon and Honey through an amazing Living Social deal-​$ 75 for both a 1-​hr massage and 1-​hr facial. I had been wanting to find a facial place that was in Orange County so I was excited to try Lemon and Honey.
I called into the spa to make my appointment, and David was both professional and helpful. He quickly found an appointment time for me, and I received my confirmation text.
My facial was with Cassie. She was patient with analyzing my skin needs, and I appreciated that she customized the facial to my skin without any pushy upsell. She did an amazing job because my boyfriend said «your skin is glowing,» which is always the nicest comment!
My massage was with Desiree, and she was just as sweet. I always hold tension in my shoulders and neck, and she worked specifically in those areas.
I was quite happy to have found Lemon and Honey and have also recommended my friends to try the spa as well.

I don’t want to write this review because then my new hidden gem will become public. I got a LivingSocial for a facial and massage. I walked up and was a little worried that this was in an office complex, but the second I opened that door and was greeted by a friendly receptionist I knew I was in good hands.
FEEL: This place is gorgeous, the owner took care with every detail and I wish my house looked this good. There is a relaxation room that is pure bliss.
MASSAGE: I usually don’t get asked to breathe during a massage, nor is there heavy focus on pressure points and stretching. I LOVED IT. I workout 5 times a week and run, and Anna worked out all of my issues while being very ready to respond to my wants/​needs. She is extremely knowledgeable about the different muscles and parts of the body.
FACIAL: I usually don’t splurge for skin care as my face is normal and without many problems, but this facial with Cassi was heavenly. There were even some chest/​shoulder massage elements to it. Yay! The products are all organic, natural products– no additives and preservatives. I felt so fresh and clean after that and really appreciated her recommendations!
Can’t wait to go back for another service and to try my new Eminence Skin Organic Skin Care Stone Crop Gel Wash!
