Dr. Max Swancutt and his staff have been providing exceptional care to patients for over 30 years. His dedicated team of hygienists, technicians and office staff have been with him nearly as long. Each member of the team follows Dr. Swancutt’s high standards of providing outstanding personalized care to every patient.

Dr. Swancutt earned his Bachelor of Science degree at San Diego State University and then studied at the University of California at Los Angeles where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). He has been providing dental care in his Newport Beach office since 1980, located in the historic Richard Neutra-​designed Mariners Medical Arts building.

In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Swancutt serves on the board of the Orange County Dental Society, Hoag Hospital Dental Staff as a part of the Hoag Sleep Center, the Orange County Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry Board member. He is a past director of dental service Orange County Flying Samaritans. Dr. Swancutt is also affiliated with local Newport Beach substance abuse and eating disorder facilities.
