Park Newport Cleaners

Yogesh goes above and beyond for his customers. I’m not sure what kind of dry cleaners the other bad reviews had in the past, but I have been using this place for four years every two-​four weeks, and I have NOTHING bad to say about this place. Suits, shirts, jeans, have all been taken care of and cleaned very well. Add the convenience for a Park Newport resident, and this is an easy 5 star, hands down.

OMG ! I took my t-​shirts to be cleaned and fold, the guy told me we won’t press it, you will find rankles. What is this? I think park Newport apartments should find someone else.. Shame on you

Although extremely convenient for those who live within the complex, their prices are inflated and the quality is terrible. I brought three pairs of pants to be cleaned, all made out of wool or linen. Out of those three pairs, two are now ruined. The fabric is now very thin and baggy and the fit is extremely stretched out. I do not know what process they use to press the clothes, but it appears to ruin the delicate fabrics. I will definitely not be bringing anything back to this establishment!

For me convenience is key when it comes to services. Having a dry cleaner within my community fits that need. Beyond convenience is the reliable service at an affordable price is why I rate this a five star. I haven’t tried the fluff and fold yet although I intend to. The 3 to 4 day turn around has been my only reluctance. Dry cleaning is a more typical 2 to 3 days.

The worst dry cleaner in the United States, period. I used their services for about six months, while significantly overpriced, I reluctantly went there due to the convenient location in park newport. Then one day I took a pair of 7 jeans to be cleaned. When they were ready (along with my other items), I picked them up. Several days later, I went to wear my jeans. To my horror, it was an old tarnished, size 42 pair of sevens (I wear 34) that most definitely were not mine. I took them to him (owner/​operator) said they obviously weren’t mine, and asked for my jeans. He proceeded to tell me that they were in fact my jeans, because his tagging system is not susceptible to error. You see, this business appears to outsource all of its cleaning, as nothing is done in that space in park newport. It was obvious that my jeans had been switched out either on purpose or by mistake, but since he didn’t agree with me there was to be no resolution. Thus, he said that he didn’t lose my jeans, and that he could not help. That is when I became angry and began raising my voice at him. Since customers were coming in and he didn’t want to look bad, he said to go find the receipt for the jeans and he would reimburse me. I got the receipt, but he refused to pay me the full 200 replacement cost because they were not new (bout a year old). He said he would only pay me 50, and that I was a liar and trying to scam him. I reluctantly accepted due to me not wanting to waste any more time with such an imbecile, and terrible businessman. I’ve had 3 other friends that are park newport residents that have had their clothes lost and or ruined by this business, who have received similar treatment when asking for reimbursement. One of them was an individual that had spent thousands over a 4 year period with them. DO NOT use this service if you care about your clothes

Not many places that are convenient are also fairly priced or produce quality goods and services. Fortunately for me, Park Newport Cleaners proved to be both quality and priced fairly.
After I’d accumulated an armful of pieces of clothing in my dry cleaning bag, I went out in search of someone to clean them. When I came into Park Newport Cleaners, I was greeted courteously, quoted a price for my items, given a small discount for new business, and sent on my way with a promise that in 2 days my little clothes would be cleaned. Upon my return, happy happy joy joy they were sparkling clean and packed in pretty nice quality bags to protect my now fresh and clean clothes. No muss, no fuss, no hassle whatsoever. They can count on my return business for sure! :)
