You may select your tea to enjoy with milk and sugar while savoring 6 different small bites. This was the first time where I had high tea without the finger sandwiches, so that was unique. My favorite was the machego on the French baguette. We were all pretty full afterwards, so I did not have room to enjoy all of the tea pastries. From the sounds of my company, it sounds like they were delicious. They even let you pack up what you can’t finish to bring home. I only wish they let you order a few different teas rather than just one, like at more traditional afternoon teas. However, as their name suggests, perhaps this isn’t a place that is about the tea as much as the stunning views and contemporary vibes at the posh Pelican Hill Resort.
