BCBCBCBC! What does that stand for? Brandon C.‘s BossCat Brunch Club Birthday Celebration!!! WOOHOO! It was bright and early for this princess to wake up(11:30 am — the peeps who know me I don’t wake up at this time HAHA), but I made it! This was my first time at BossCat Kitchen and Libations in Newport Beach. I was super thrilled to try out a new place and to celebrate Brandon’s birthday! WOOT! WOOT! This restaurant was pretty cool. It was literally built inside a garage so you can dine inside or out on the patio. The bar is smacked inside the garage so the cool kids can drink it up. This event was seriously amazing! We got to eat some pretty amazing dishes and had unlimited drinks of mimosas. What a way to start off the day! I got to finally meet Ryan P., Huy T., Diane V., and Charisse B. Of course, I cannot forget the lovely and familiar faces of Kenzie K., Olin C., Grace C., and Brian S. We all had a blast with the birthday boy, Brandon C. Great job putting this together. Our food was served family style, but you can see that most of us were hungry hungry hippos so we went around taking pictures and grabbing our share within a heart beat. We had four dishes total. Yum yum! Short Rib Chilaquiles — the short rib is mixed with chilies, duck fat fried egg, avocado, cheese, corn tortillas, and sour cream. Wow, was this dish great! You get to taste how flavorful the ingredients are mixed together. Also, it was still delicious even if you take a piece home for to-go. Fruity Pebbles French Toast — this french toast was glazed with condensed milk and topped with fresh berries and bacon. To have one of my favorite cereal mixed with some toast is such a plus. Super delicious and beautifully made. We can see that the Flintstones are missing out on this baby. The King — oh hail to the mighty king! The King surely knew how to stack a huge layer of blue pancakes which was loaded with maple peanut butter, banana cream pudding, and bacon. Oh man. This is where you begin to tap out and hope someone will roll you out of the restaurant. Chicken Fried Steak — the chicken fried steak was deliciously covered in gumbo gravy and okra. SOGOOD! So tender. So juicy. So yummy. This was also a good dish to take home for some munching later. Once again, thank you Brandon C. for the invite!!! HAPPYBIRTHDAY!!! We had so much fun and I can’t wait to bond with you guys some more in the next year! HAPPY2016! This was seriously a great way to start December, but also a great way to remember the year of 2015! WOOT!!! PARTYTIME!!! ASALWAYS, NOMFORLIFE!!! :D
