I am thrilled with my new house. Dean Quinn was a Wonderful Help! I lost my husband in Nov. and must now live alone. I wanted to live near my kids, as I would now need to lean on them a little. Recently I attended a local Music in the Park event in Huntington Beach which was sponsored by The Stanfield Group. I have to say it was really amazing how much they provided to the local community at this event and how incredibility friendly each and every person was from the group to all the people that attended, especially considering the huge turn out! There were so many people that came that I do not know how they managed it all but they certainly did an excellent job with it and you could tell people were very excited!
They hired an In N Out truck and provided FREE In N Out Burgers to every person that attended. In addition they also had a cute little snow cone and popcorn stand that was run by its members and their families, plus there was even an opportunity to win iPads!
It is always wonderful to see an organization take the time to contribute to their community. You can really tell that each person from The Stanfield Group really cares about its surrounding community and takes pride in their work not only professionally but also at fun events like this one. This is definitely the type of business I would want to work with when seeking out a new home! Can’t wait until next year!

One of the reasons we chose Sotheby’s this time around, is because we noticed over the years that other companies had lost some of their professional edge. In addition, we were looking for a referral down in Florida in the Gulf area. Sandra referred us to a very professional lady who carried on the Sotheby’s upper end style.
We were very fortunate to have a beautiful one story corner home in a much desirable area of Huntington Beach. Sandra’s marketing and personal style made it an easy sale. The challenges that developed was primarily from Our Buyers’ Buyer. Unfortunately, because of delay problems with the Buyers’ Buyer it was very challenging for us and Our Buyer. Since we were at the end of this transaction, closing was delayed. Fortunately for us, Sandra was on top of the situation and worked well with our Buyers agent to try to move things along. This situation shows that Sandra is so multi-​talented in all aspects of the process of buying and selling. She had our needs at the top of the priority list always looking out for us in all ways.
In conclusion, Sotheby’s has a very valuable employee who brings professionalism to the highest level. She has proven herself to be able to navigate through the most treacherous twist and turns of a real estate transaction. We are so blessed to have had her in our corner.

My wife and I have successfully closed our first home with Shane from The Standfield Group, and we could not be happier with the result.
We are in our early 30s and 4 years into our happy marriage. We decided that with favorable interest rate and tired of paying rent it was time to make the bold move. Neither of us are in the real estate business and had no prior experience in purchasing a property. Therefore, we needed a trustworthy agent that could guide us along the way.
In the beginning of my search, I know quite a few other agents through my social network and have reached out to them for help. I almost began to think that I might have mistreated them in the past when their «help» wasn’t really helpful at all. I get numerous listing update emails but none seemed useful. This went on for months and I was frustrated feeling time wasted.
I met Shane through my buddies in grad school and had a quick lunch with him on a Saturday afternoon. Shane is very knowledgeable and very humble, and he patiently explained to me what to expect in the process– both the goods and the bads. I knew immediately I could trust Shane and wanted to work with him. This was in February.
By early April we had secured an offer to begin the escrow, and the house closed on time in early June. As first time home buyer, I truly believe it takes a lot of experience and knowledge to be able to coordinate all parties and work things out smoothly. And I can only imagine how painful it would be if I had worked with another agent and missed the opportunity.
The wife and I are very happy with our purchase. It’s not our dream house in wonderland, but the more we live in it the more we realize that it is a dream house in the real world. There was a time when we doubted Shane for not helping us secure the house at our lowest (first) bid, but it is a lesson learned through experience that Shane got our every penny’s worth.

We have been working with Dave Biehler for over a year looking for that illusive waterfront home. We did not realize at the time that Stanfield Group has the Harbour well mapped out and knows the clients very well. I was amazed at how Standfield group has an edge on other realtors because of their intimate relations with most of the home owners in the Harbour.
Dave understood our waterfront home feature needs and within the budget. He is soft spoken, courteous, and knwoledgeable realestate agent, and more. He comes accross as more as a friend rather than just an agent. In our quest for that perfect home for us, we ventured into three homes in a years time with home/​seller issues that all seems to be unobtainable for seller issues. We finally found that perfect house recently that had all the features we wanted and within the price range we can manage. Well, actually we had to push our budget just beyond our limits to secure the purchase. Here was the clincher, Sean and Dave both worked very hard with the seller to actually reduce their commison (I won’t say how much, but it was probably the maximum allowed by their brokerage!) to make the seller net sheet meet the sellers sale target and for us to offord it. Wow, who does that!
All in all, the entire experience was very satisfying and I feel very fortunate to have had Dave as my agent. We still keep in touch and will probably use hime to sell our house when that time comes. Thank you Dave Bielher and the Stanfield Group!

David Biehler was very proactive in the listing of my grandmother’s home. He is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, yet straight forward and very professional. It is such a scary proposition selling a home, trusting another person to help get the right selling and purchase price to be enable you to afford another newer dream and to care about that dream as much as you or your family would.
Well that is what Debbie Bamsey did for my family. Not only did she quickly and efficiently find buyers for our home that our neighbors would love, she knocked on the door and built a new relationship with another family willing to sell their family home to me and my family. We are now in our perfect home in our perfect neighborhood and my children are living the life I hoped for them. Debbie Bamsey helped do so much more than buy and sell homes for us; she helped us create our dream.

One would think working with a reputable real estate company such as Stanford Group and Sotheby’s International would be a great experience, I mean, this company works with multi-​million dollar deals on a daily basis; and given the review of Jeremy G. on 6÷12÷2013, one should think nothing less.
Well, unfortunately for me, things didn’t work out quite that way. I was to purchase a home in Cape Ann, a small community of houses/​condos owned by the City of Huntington Beach’s Affordable Housing program. I was selected by David Biehler amongst other offers for a property in the mid $ 500,000’s. He was the owner as well as our agent, though our contract with Stanford Group and Sotheby’s International was under the name of a Sean Stanfield. I found this odd, but proceeded with the deal regardless as he seemed like a trustworthy, professional, and honest individual.
Dealing with my lender was taxing, but we eventually had a meeting of the minds and everything was proceeding smoothly while we awaited the City of Huntington Beach to approve me to purchase the home. Towards the end of January 2015, the owner and I mutually decided to cancel the deal as it appeared the city was not going to approve me. Less than 24 hours later, Mr. Biehler was in contact with me and we both agreed to press on with the deal. I was told by Mr. Biehler to consider the cancellation as though it never happened and we would continue on with the original contract agreement and apply any addendums needed, stating «I’m in it with you guys», referring to myself and my parents who were gifting me a large part of the down payment. He even stated I didn’t need to put my $ 10,000 deposit back in to escrow, I could just include it into our monies to close. Of course, I accepted and was eager to move into my first home once I got city approval. Meanwhile, my parents (to whom I currently live with) accepted an offer on their home thinking I had a place to live.
So we proceeded forward. All disclosures were signed, escrow had their papers, and the city had approved me to purchase the home. Now came the appraisal, which took a week and a half to complete! To the shock of myself and the owner, Mr. Biehler, the home was valued over $ 65,000 under asking price. Obviously we were shocked, but agreed to go forward with the deal regardless. However, communication with Mr. Biehler was scarce at best thereafter. Finally we made contact with one another to which he stated he no longer wished to sell his house and stated I didn’t have a contract. This being 25 days after giving me his professional word that I had a contract, and having the city and my lender work tireless to get things processed.
After calling his broker, supervisor, and seeking a real estate attorney… it turns out that I was left high and dry by this agent and the company that represents him. Mr. Biehler did not do right by me, neither morally nor ethically, and I would caution anyone conducting real estate dealings with this person.
Don’t’ walk, RUN.
