These folks are very accommodating and dependable. My recent trip to Newport Beach required multiple trips to the cleaners and VIP was very close by, so i decided to see what they were all about. Definitely looked like a mom and pop type place and their customer service sort have supported that notion, both people there at he time were very friendly. Prices seemed on par with others but quality of cleaned items is optimal. I recommend VIP to anyone in need of dry cleaning and laundry, they have yet to disappoint and always do a great job.

The critical reviews surprise me. I have had nothing but great experiences with this cleaner. The wife and I have been coming here about six years now and we both have always been happy. They have always been competitively priced, and although I only have simple items cleaned (in contrast to the odd pieces my wife and other women call clothing) they have never given any article (mine or hers) back that did not look practically new. Other cleaners, I should note have screwed up her items, while mine (again, simple shirts, we’re returned adequately).
Personnel is always pleasant. Its seemingly a ma and pop operation and both are always very nice. The man is always very smiley. Both have measured me for alterations (usually simple hemmings) but they always do a good job. Prices are very reasonable.
I highly recommend.

I have been taking my dry cleaning to VIP Cleaners for over 12 years. The service I have received has been exceptional. The owner Young, and his staff are friendly, my clothes is always ready when promised, and the quality of their work is the best I have experienced and beyond my expectations. In my opinion, VIP Cleaners earns their Clients’ business, and they have served those of us on the peninsula for many years. I appreciate their hard work, fair prices, friendly smiles and greetings, and during difficult times such as these, I would hope that people value businesses who work this hard and reward them with your loyal patronage. VIP Cleaners service and quality is great. I go out of my way to bring my clothes to them.
They are also open late and that helps for a busy woman!

I grew up in a suburban middle to upper class town with over 5 cleaners in the town.
This is the last time I give VIP my business.
Yesterday, I dropped off my cleaning. The manager gave me a hard time about having it ready for today, although they offer it. No receipt.
I arrived today. The amount was over double what she quoted me, although she was not working of course. No rush amount was quoted, only a regular amount.
Additionally, the manager on duty said the manager took my laundry basket and told me to come back on Monday. I am flying back to NY tomorrow. Long story longer, they asked me if it was ok to refund $ 5 for the basked. After calling Target and giving them a quote on speaker phone, the owner brought the basket down within 15 mins.
At that time, I was rushed out at the price I was quoted. A whole 1 ½ hours later.
Poor customer service and high prices.
Not worth going back.
