Cherry is the best. I have been going to her for over 2 years the quality of my gel nails is amazing and it always lasts with her! If you want excellent work that lasts go to her!

Cherry was very friendly and suggested gel for my pedicure. I might try it next time but for now the pedicure was excellent and she did a great job with my nails!

Kelly is amazing I’m a hairstylist and nothing lasts but my nails still look amazing after 2 weeks with gel. I prebook every appointment because I wouldn’t go to anyone else

I have bruises on my upper arms from the «massage.» They were brusque in cutting my cuticles also and all in all didn’t do a good job. I won’t be back.

I’ve been coming here for almost 5 years now and I’d definitely like to reiterate how great of a job Cherry does. I come here every three weeks to get my gel nails done with her and she always does a great job. I’ve been to so many salons and she is by far the best gel manicurist I’ve had.

I’m from out of state, I come here every time during my vacation for my manicure n pedicure. This time I’m doing the whole body wax, I have found the girl named Diane. She’s very nice n sweet. She wax for me very fast but it’s clean n comfortable. She does my manicure gel very beautiful. I love the place. It’s nice n clean.

I’ve been to this place for 3 years. All the girls here are nice and sweet. The service is good and clean. I love waxing the most.

My one in a million chance to have a «relaxing afternoon» turned into one of the most painful and nerve-​wrecking hours of my life.
And if anyone wonders where they buy their nail polish from, I saw TJ MAXX price tags on a few of the nail polish bottles as I was choosing the colors. No wonder the manicures or pedicures don’t last!!! They are cheating their customers!!! Nothing here is salon quality!!!
For the pedicure… I had gel nail polish on my toes, but this lady ripped my toes apart to take them off. She had no feeling whatsoever and didn’t care if she was hurting me. Every time I jerked my foot away she would smile and say «tickle?» and I said «No! It hurts!» I would think someone jerking her foot away at least 5 times and saying «it hurts» would get the point across. She rubbed the callous pumice stone on all the soft spots of my foot (hard) and didn’t even get it all where I needed it, she filed and buffed all the skin around my toenails and then kept putting acetone on the broken skin and it would burn like hell, and the polish is uneven and looks like crap, all over the skin of my toes. And I’m still in pain. The skin stings.
When I first got in I asked for a mani pedi so I could get in and out while my son was taking a nap at home. Everyone else was getting both mani and pedi too. The mani lady didn’t even come by until the end of my pedicure so I told her it was too late and to leave. I wasn’t going to stay there another hour inhaling the fumes, especially after my crappy experience and my nerves shot.
I will never make the mistake of coming here again.

I live close by but rarely go because the customer service is poor and the staff is rude and sloppy. This is my last option when I can’t get an appointment somewhere else. I recently got a bikini wax and the woman was rude. She rushed through the wax, which was fine but left a lot of hair and refused to clean it up before I left. I think the goal is to get as many people in and out as possible and up sell on every appointment. The manicures do not last longer than a few days.
I would gladly drive farther to get better service and results. In fact, the Happy Nails in Fashion Island is great! The service is fantastic and the staff is lovely. I always walk out with perfect looking nails.

We were in Newport Coast visiting my parents and this nail salon is 5 minutes away from their home so my sister and I decided to give this place a try.
We both requested a mani and pedi.
My massage chair was broken. I asked to be moved to a chair that works since I was paying for a SPA pedicure. After some attitude and probably some
rude words in their own language, I moved to a chair that was functional. They don’t put new plastic liners in their bins after each customer and I watched them clean the basins and believe me, it was a surface cleaning job at best.
The massage portion of my mani and pedi was probably all of 1 minute. Very rushed.
The worst part is they talk in their own language, non-​stop. This is their place of business and it feels like they are at work for social hour!
Definitely won’t return and neither will my sister. Not the most relaxing experience.

Just wanted to update my review, as I mentioned before I got my nails done here a few months back and now my nail on my ring finger is lifting from the skin!!! I have natural nails so when I say my nail is lifting, i mean it is actually separating from the skin itself! It looks terrible and i am on the verge of loosing my finger nail all together. Luckily I learned to do my nails my self and I’m making it blend in with the others by shaping it, but if u look at the pic I posted u can see its seperating.
Thanks again Crappy Nails! You’ve made my Dreams of loosing a finger nail come true! (Sarcasm)
But seriously, if u want to risk catching a nail fungus from this place that appears to be clean, but in reality, is dirty as h*ll, by all means, roll the dice! But if you want to keep your nails attached to your fingers as they should be, drive as fast as u can away from Crappy Nails as you can!
Save your nails!!! They deserve better than this Overpriced Spit hole!!!

I’ve been coming to this salon for years because it is so close to my house but the last few visits have been less than 5 star quality. Last visit the nail tech had the nerve to complain about my tip — it was 15%, not bad!!! Worst thing today was the front desk manager. I had a gift card with less than $ 20 left on it so I gave that and my credit craft. The nail tech accidentally ran everything in the credit card which I didn’t want. She was trying to get her manager’s help but she was all but ignoring her for quite some time while I stood there waiting. Finally she just said very rudely: we can’t void anything so use your gift card next time. No apology to me and she just assumes I’m coming back again. How can a retail establishment with modern technology not have the ability to void a transaction??? I need a new salon.

The girls are very nice to your face. While they laugh their ass off over the stupid customers who have more money then brains… I have acrylic nails.
I got snowed into gel polish for extra $ 15.00. Worse then that the gels was cutting into my cuticle. Neglected to repair cracked nail. Had to be redone. I also agreed to the callous remover for $ 5.00, worthless.
I never got my foot massage !!
Adding insult to injury I let them wax my brow, I was just giving $$ away.
Would not recommend …

I am so angry and upset! I just left this place so frustrated. Worst job ever and I’ve been getting gel for 6 yrs now every 3 weeks. I literally had to tell the lady after every step to fix something. She kept assuring me that it will look fine at the end. Hour and a half later I’m walking out with the worst mani of my life. On the way out I even showed my nails to two of the other ladies that worked there. No one had anything to say except to whisper things to each other and ask for my credit card. Just go somewhere else. I can’t believe the service I just got.

I’ve been coming to this Happy Nails location for nine years! The girls are great and always friendly. For the past year Lynn has been doing my nails and she is super gentle and quick. That’s how I like it! I’ve tried other places around town but this one is the best. You can call ahead of time and schedule appointments. I get mani/​pedis and so does my husband. We call this «Our quality time together!» The girls are teaching my husband how to speak Vietnamese. I can tell they enjoy it because they tell me he’s funny!

Afterwards we head out for lunch.
All in all, Comfy chairs, plenty of parking, friendly,
very reasonable prices, don’t push upgrades.

Cherry, my nail technician, is fantastic! I was really nervous about doing gel nails because previously I had a bad experience with it. She assured me she would do a good job & I wouldn’t have the same bad experience I had in the past. She was right! I’ve been going to her for a year now and my nails are the perfect thickness, they don’t look ‘fake’ at all, they always look like they were ‘just done’ even when I’m ready to get them re-​done and she takes her time to make sure everything is just right. If Cherry is not working one day, I wait until she is… she is the best! Vanessa

It’s just been 7 days and for the first time that I have ever had shaellac/​gel nails they are chipping and wearing off at the tips already. It was a bigger waste of money than I thought it would be. What a shame.
I called last minute and was able to get in but it wasn’t worth t at all. It was chaotic and all the chairs are too crammed together. That would be fine if you were sitting with your friends but the place is full of over the hill white men that just check out the working girls. Makes you wonder if they do other stuff…
anyway, there was a total of 3 girls that did my manicure and pedicure. There seemed so eager to get it done that they make you shift around and bend to uncomfortable ways to get it done asap. I thought part of what you pay for is the spa experience… you should be able to relax… read a magazine or close your eyes. Why else would it cost so much? The mani/​pedi was just average and the price was on the high end.
I won’t be going back.

Kinda pricey. Service was ok. I had to demand they do 3 coats on left hand to match thicker two coats done on rt hand.
When you have short nails they talk about you.
