We are your one-​stop design and blind center, located in the Oyster Point area of Newport News, VA, serving the Penninsula, Williamsburg, Southside and all surrounding areas.

Our show room has been created to provide examples of the countless items that can make up a beautiful room in your home. Everything from wall paper, area rugs, accent tables, custom window treatments, blinds, bedding, decorative painting, and occasional furniture is displayed beautifully.

History

Established in 2000.

Unusual Designs, Inc. was established in March 2000 as a complete interior design and Hunter Douglas Blind Center, specializing in window treatments, blinds, accessories, bedding, custom upholstered furniture, and faux/​decorative painting.
