Formerly Hampstead Interiors, Norma has been in the industry over 25 years providing service to consumers with tasteful products and hard to beat pricing directly from top national vendors. A graduate of Bauder fashion college in Miami FL in 1982, Norma set up Smart Swim N’ Sport designing custom bikini and swimwear fashions. In 1990 Norma then took her talents to the home window fashion industry to set up a thriving business. In 2009, Hampstead Interiors blossomed which has now been moved to the Swansboro/Newport area in a professional showroom setting at 2969 Highway 24 in Newport. From here you can view samples, swatches, and examples of her opulent, yet economically sound window treatment options. This is a family owned and operated business, with very little overhead which allows for the most competitive pricing in the area. Formerly the owner of Hampstead Interiors in Hampstead, NC. Norma has set up Crystal Coast Market upscale furniture, and antique store. At location 2969 Highway 24 in Beautiful Newport, NC you’ll see also a showroom dedicated to giving consumers a place to view different window treatment options. What can’t be set up in a showroom, bought, or imitated, is the 25 years plus of experience and know-how that comes with being a business owner in the interior décor industry for over two decades. That combined with a low overhead business that pays for itself with the selling of furniture and antiques at the store location; makes for a business model that won’t fail. The family owned business mostly run by son Alexander Smart allows Norma to spend her days either working on projects at her own home, or in yours providing FREE consultations to our neighbors in beautiful the beautiful Newport/Swansboro/Moorehead/Havelock areas.
