I loved my entire experience with IE Cycle in Newport. In fact, I can’t imagine what this being my first trip to Newport would’ve been like without having rented a pair of electric bicycles from IE Cycle to explore the town. I’d done a little research on Newport and especially Ocean Drive before arriving and I had a little vision in my head that it might be fun to rent electric bikes, something I’d never done before, but nothing really prepared me for the experience of seeing the Atlantic up close while cruising along with the wind in your hair at around 20 mph. It’s incredible and worth every penny. I should’ve filmed the whole thing with a gopro attached to my helmet and posted a video to give you a sense of what it’s like. Thanks to a tip from a smart young man at IE Cycles, we started our trek by parking for free at Brenton Point. The views are beyond words. Don’t forget to stop for drinks on the lawn at the nearby Castle Hill Inn. It’s a must do. We rode our bikes all the way to The Breakers, which we also toured. I also want to give a shout out to Benjamin’s on Thames St. for dinner. You will have an awesome time in Newport, and it all begins with the IE Cycles, which also happens to be owned and staffed by some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If I could repeat that trip, including renting bikes from them once a month I would. Your decision has been made. Go.

Awesome experience on the electric bikes! A lot of fun! — allows you to explore all of newport without doing any work. Perfect idea for touring the coast. Would def go back. Recommend all to go check her out!
