When I found out I was pregnant with my son, I could not wait to get to Infant Interiors to furnish his nursery. As another reviewer stated, the store is(was) beautiful and stocked with unique items. In September of 2009 I ordered my crib and dresser(paid in full) and was told it would arrive in 10 – 12 weeks(I was told it would typically be 8 – 10 but because my order production fell into holiday season I should add another two weeks) I was also told that a perk of ordering from the store was their free delivery and setup. Well, after TWENTYONEWEEKS of «It should be here next week» I received my crib on JANUARY28th, my DUEDATE.(During this long wait I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that if the order was placed in September there was absolutely NO reason I shouldn’t have had it in 10 – 12 weeks) As for the«perk» of set up and delivery, my furniture arrived in the back of the owner’s SUV, my husband carried it out of the SUV, along with the owner’s husband, then struggled along with him for hours to complete the set up. I also ordered a Serena and Lily glider and Ottoman for my nursery from Infant Interiors. I placed the order for a cream glider with chocolate trim in October 2009. I was told, again, the production time would be about 8 – 10 weeks. After just about TWENTYWEEKS of waiting(and again, lots more«it should be here next weeks», and every other excuse in the book) my glider arrived on FEBRUARY25th, just about 3 weeks after my son was born. In the WRONG color!!! During the 20 week wait, I contacted Serena and Lily and they also informed me that if the glider was ordered in October(when I PAID in FULL for it) that there was ABSOLUTELY no reason I should not have had it in a timely fashion. So when it arrived in cream with tan trim(A «quick ship» color option that is available in ONE week) I found it very interesting. The owner admitted she had made a «mistake» and told me that she would get the correct color slipcover for me ASAP. She also kindly offered to refund me for the glider. She informed me that that she would refund my card in two installments and that it would occur within one week. Well more than ONE month later after NUMEROUS phone calls to her and visiting the store it was finally refunded. I have STILL have NOT received correct color glider slipcover… 8 months later.

This store is adorable, they have wonderful products and I found the nicest murals to have custom ordered for my boys. When in the store, the salespeople are very nice and helpful, however 1 year apart I ordered a total of 3 murals. The first one took 2 – 3 months(I can’t remember) because of some«glitch». I gave them the benefit of the doubt, they gave me a gift certificate for $ 20 for the error. Well, a year later when I had my second son, I went back and ordered 2 murals. We were moving soon so they were to be shipped to our new address. She said it was no problem to put a do not ship before line on the order. Well, somehow the order got cancelled and I only found out about it when I called 2 months later(again) and got a long list of excuses, then I got a follow up email explaining the order had been deleted. However, both murals were paid for up front. So… the store has had my money since Sept… it is Jan and I still don’t know when I am going to get them. The last update 3 weeks ago said they were in process and were going to be shipped expedited mail… If we decide to get any more of these murals… we will definitely be finding a different store to purchase them from. Addending the above– Mid-January I got a call from the owner apologizing for the delay and promising a full refund for the two murals I had been waiting for and that they would be delivered soon… 10 days later I finally got our murals. Now almost a month later still waiting for the refund, but glad my boys have their art.
