At Sassie Styles, we offer friendly and professional pet grooming for both cats and dogs! Our services are always personalized to the energies of each individual animal.

We specialize in all standard breed cuts, using only organic grooming products as well as hand drying (opposed to cage drying). Our grooming services include shampooing, conditioning, nails trim, ears cleaned, and teeth brushing. To better serve you and your busy schedule, we offer a pick-​up and delivery service.

Walk-​ins are always welcome for nail trims as well as touch up services which maintain and prolong your furry friend’s groom!

Going on vacation? Give your pet a vacation too with Sassie Styles puppy daycare and day sitting. Discounts are available for multiple days and evenings!

We also offer overnight boarding. We love your pets as much as you do, so they come home with us; giving them the VIP treatment.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Cassie’s first job was at The Robert Potter League in Newport at the age of 14. After that, she knew she wanted to build a career helping animals. Following this dream, she went on to be a veterinary technician and worked for groomers throughout the area.

From there, Cassie decided she wanted to open her own pet grooming salon that was a stress-​free environment for both the owner and their pet. In 2009, she started Sassie Styles in downtown Newport. Her business has continued to grow ever since because pet owners enjoy Cassie’s philosophy. When you first arrive, she likes to get to know you until you and your pet are both comfortable. She uses only natural products, hand dries each animal, and is a firm believer that your pet will tell you about their experience.
