Only one gal working, poor thing. Doing the best she can with long Christmas break lines. Regular coffee wasn’t great. Perhaps the espresso is more impressive.

Just overpaid for a horribly stale pastry wrapped in plastic wrap. My wife’s cookie is a rock. The coffee is cold. Worst 12 bucks I’ll pay today. I hate being ripped off. It only gets 1 star because I can’t give it less.

The best coffee and smoothies around, I am now a regular and recommend any of the tremendous selection of lattes or smoothies… made with REAL fruit! Great little coffee shop inside Newport on the Levee!

Coffee shop in Newport on the Levee – wide selection of flavored coffee drinks with some inventive flavor combinations. They also sell a few baked goods – cookies, etc.
On a recent visit, I got a caramel macchiato (caramel & vanilla flavored latte) and found it to be significantly over-​flavored. My husband got a plain latte so we poured our drinks back and forth until we both found a ratio we were happy with. We also split a peanut butter cookie, which was average: decent flavor, but a little dry.
Not a mark against Saxbys, but just to know – the movie theater upstairs no longer allows outside food & drink so our brilliant plan of getting coffees to take into our movie was foiled.

Stopped here for a quick pick-​me-​up on a hot day before boarding Ride the Ducks. I went with a Caramel Macchiato Frolatte — it was a little on the suffocatingly sweet side but I’d rather have that than too bitter. I was impressed with their vast selection of specialty drinks — I would definitely love to try more flavors!

not bad. I ordered a iced latte with whipped cream and their homemade sugar cookie. the iced latte was a little strong and bitter but once i added sugar it got a little better. their iced sugar cookie however is really good and its very cheap too. i will be getting the sugar cookie again but a different drink next time!
