A Little Dirty and Dated. No HDTV! FILTHY!!! This place is a dump. We booked a 5 rooms. This place is not cleaned well. The toilet had hairs on it. The rooms had a funny smell. I was embarrassed that I picked this place. I can deal with the old tube TV in 2012, I can deal with the pink laminate counter tops in the bathroom. What I can deal with are filthy rooms. The floors left my white socks filthy. I went to Walmart to pick up supplies and slippers. The shower heads in multiple rooms had pink nasty slime caked on them. I tried to wash it off it was caked on. I took pictures of this as it was nasty. We had no time to change hotels as we were attending a funeral. This place is really filthy. No exhaust fans in the bathroom. I went down to the front desk and borrowed cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom myself. The wifi was under .5 mb per second. Needed as the town has no 3G(I use AT&T). I was on the Edge network. So it was faster than my phones connection. The breakfast room looks lovely in the pictures. In person, it is dark and gloomy. Also needing a good cleaning. The orange juice tasted like Sunny Delight watered down. They offer a waffle iron, but the lady on duty in the breakfast room was either cheap or lazy. There was no waffle mix cups out and had to wait 10 minutes for her to make fresh, and when she made fresh waffle mix cups after being asked she made six. There was 14 people including kids in the breakfast room. The rooms are very dated in need of updating. The bathroom sinks luster shiny porcelean is dull and nasty. The shower heads are gross.(This was in all five rooms.) I had expected to have a newer TV as I had stuff with HDMI out that I was not able to use. Free USA Today. Free Newton paper. Given the chance I would not go again. The owners were very nice. I did not complain to them in person. I did complain on their maintenence form. The bedding was clean. The heat worked. We paid $ 58 a night x 5 rooms. The price fair. But given the chance I would not stay here again. I prefer an HDTV. I prefer clean bathrooms. All in all I was glad to check out.

HEEBIEJEEBIES My traveling partner booked this hotel thru and had paid in full prior to our arrival. I arrived before he did and checked in. The lobby seemed nice enough… clean with leather couches. Turning down the dimly lit hallway, I walked to my room. Opening my room door resulting in a rush of an overwhelmingly odd smell masked by an enormous amount of baby powder. My first though was«did someone die in here?» I walked in, careful not to touch anything, and began to inspect the room. The carpet was worn. The chairs at the small table in the corner were worn and tired and stained. I opened the window in attempt to alleviate the smell, but there was no screen and we were on the first floor. The«furniture» was old 1980’s laminate and there was an old tube TV. The bathroom sink was pink. There was no way I was sleeping in this place. I called the hotel down the street and made reservations. I left immediately. We went back later to officially check out and the girl at the desk wasn’t friendly, didn’t apologize, didn’t offer her manager’s information, claimed she didn’t have a card for him, said she didn’t think we could get our money refunded because they wouldn’t refund it to . We called and they were extremely nice on the phone. They are working with the hotel to get our money refunded. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a cheap $ 50 to say in, then this is the place for you… if you don’t mind potentially getting bedbugs or whatever else might be creeping around there. There is a brand new Comfort Inn down the street or the Best Western Red Coach which is only $ 99(or $ 89AAA rate).
