This is a great store for learning more about fly fishing. I am a beginner and had hundreds of questions to ask the owner. He was more than happy to answer any of my questions. I even took a fly tying class with him and it was great. I hope the store does well.

This is a great local business in the heart of the Nonantum area of Newton. My boyfriend is really into fishing so this shop is heaven for him. The owner, Bruce is a very personable guy who you can tell has a lot of stories to tell… like any good fisherman! He sells a lot of higher end fly fishing supplies and also has fly tying classes and rod making classes. It took us too long to finally make it into the store and now that we have, I’m sure there will be more trips to come. The store has been open for a little over a year and I really hope that it succeeds. Here is a nice article about the shop:
