History

Established in 2008.

We started as a pop-​up boutique in 2008 offering fashion accessories and handbags. We expanded in 2011 to a historic 1920’s building which we bought and renovated.

Meet the Business Owner

Sara M.

Business Owner

Sara Megletti is the owner of PB&J Stores, a women’s boutique located in Newton. Before she became a retailer, Sara spent more than 25 years as a software consultant specializing in administrative applications for school districts in New Jersey. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas and DeVry Institute of Technology. Locally, she is known as a good business partner and committee volunteer with projects sponsored by the Sussex County Community College Foundation, Friend to Friend Breast Cancer Support, Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, and Project Self Sufficiency. She is a trustee for the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Women in Business Committee. PB&J Stores was recognized for best new business and best business expansion by the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce. Her latest passion is working on economic development as a founding member of the Downtown Newton Association.
