Over the past couple of years, I have made several purchases through their parts department on Ebay and Amazon. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM STEVE WHITE MOTORS AGAIN! My last purchase was ⁰⁹⁄₁₅ for (4) replacement rims. After I placed my order online, I sent them an email requesting extra packaging be used to prevent damage during shipment. Not only did they ignore my request, but the rims arrived damaged and scratched. When I inquired about them sending a replacement set, I then received an email from their Luke Vigneault-​VP of Fixed Operations whereby Mr. Vigneault stated that they would not supply replacement rims and they never wanted to do business with me again. I had to send the defective rims back to them at my expense. They finally did reimburse me for the return shipping charges, but I had to fight to get that money back. A while back I purchased a fuel pump from them. It also was inadequately packed and arrived broken. I had to end up purchasing through my local dealership a new fuel pump at full price. BEWARE IF YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I do not recommend buying a used vehicle from this company online.
I recently bought a used vehicle online from Steve White Motors that, once delivered to me, had undisclosed damage and errors in the on-​line ad that reduced the actual vehicle value.
Although free out-​of-​state delivery is nice, once a vehicle is delivered to you it’s hard to return to the dealer if you have problems.

Excellent experience buying a brand new vehicle. Fast and easy, gave fair amount on trade– in. Most importantly, the sticker price is the ACTUAL price. No hidden fees. Very nice staff. Will definitely buy again in the future.

Super service from this this place. I live in Texas, found SW motors on Ebay, purchased directly outside of Ebay in 2011 a brand new Dodge Challenger. Now I’m purchasing a 2015 from the same sales person. This is a good sign in and of itself– — the employees actually stay. Very competitive pricing, extensive research and will deliver to you what you want without ever stepping foot on a local car lot. Love buying my vehicles this way! My car was shipped from NC to TX.

Just had the worst experience with them. They actually did not honor the factory warranty on our 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The factory warranty is bumper to bumper, 36,000 miles or 3 years. We were 23 months and 20,000 miles into it.
The tailgate «stop» which limits how far the tailgate opens failed. My wife opened the tailgate on a SLIGHT hill, and the weight of the door (which has a HUGE factory spare tire on it) opened the tailgate all the way, and kept it going.
They said that it wasn’t a covered part, even though per the written warranty, all parts are covered except the tires.
We had to pay over $ 700 in repair bills for a poorly designed hinge/​stop mechanism on a 2 year old $ 32k vehicle, and it could fail again. Again, this should have been factory warranty work, but they said it wasn’t a covered part, and wouldn’t give us the reason in writing.
I would not recommend any car dealer that doesn’t live up to the factory warranty on their vehicles. I buy a new car at least partially so that I don’t have to worry about it failing, because I expect the dealer to handle this.

Bought a re-​manufactured transmission from them from Ebay for my 2002 Acura TL-​S. Was skeptical about ordering stuff on-​line, but Karen in their customer service parts department was awesome! She gave me her direct line and has been so helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly with me from the beginning. I would recommend this place for ordering parts though Ebay. Two thumbs up!

Well let me tell you of my experience today 8÷30÷11. We have a Jeep Liberty 2005 Diesel. It started locking up the brakes. No reason, you could come out and crack the car and go to give it gas and the brakes would not release or you would be driving down the road and the brakes would grab and stop you and make the brake pedal impossible to push. My husband, who is a Master SGT in the US Army in a maintainance company for 20 years and has worked on every piece of equipment known to man, change the calipers and turned the rotters, because this was the problem with «my» jeep 2003 model. This worked for a day and then again the brakes locked up during a drive.
We called on a Saturday and made an appointment for the following Tuesday, my husband was OOT so he made sure I would have a loaner car and was promised one on the phone.
I arrived as scheduled on Tuesday morning. No loaner car, a lot of excuses, but no car. They wanted to drive me home and leave me there without a car, this would not work I have a child in school I have to pick up and sports practices etc. They wanted to reschedule, this would not work Tuesday was my day to do things and no other days free. So I agreed to sit while they took the care back and checked it «quickly». I was asked to «Take a ride so they could „feel“ what it was doing.» I explained there was no «feeling» this it would either lock the brakes or not, but now the brakes were fine. I waited a few minutes longer and was called to the service department where the service manager «REFUSED» to check my car. He stated that this job would take longer than 15 minutes, would cost 1000’s or dollars to fix and he was «certain oil was put in the master cyclinar because the fluid there felt oily». This was basically saying my army maintainance MSGT did not know the difference from oil and brake fluid, glad he sis not make this mistake in Iraq! Then the lady in the department said I was rude because I was upset I did not have a laoner car and they applogized and I sould have been OK with that, «NO» I expect people to do what they promise. They told me I could take it to Lake Norman. I asked, «So when I am driving home and the brakes lock up and I am hit, injuried or killed you are liable.» The manager said, «No, there is more to this story and I say there has been oil put into the system and that is what I am sticking with.» The lady said, «It will be your husbands fault for his shotty work.»
Now don’t that sound like a place you want working on your car!!!
