Since 1983, The Ballet Barre has been nurturing students’ passion for dance with a faculty that is unrivaled in Sussex County. Classes are graded by both age and ability to inspire students to achieve their personal best in a friendly learning environment.

Whether students are new to dance or already involved, we have a variety of classes suitable for their age and level of experience.

Differentiating the Ballet Barre from any other dance studio in the area is the unique curriculum The Ballet Barre has developed over the past 30 years, to represent the cutting edge in childhood dance and movement which utilizes a proprietary syllabus, weekly themes, and lesson plans for the 18 month through 17 year old child. The Ballet Barre began teaching strictly ballet under the Royal Academy Of Dance. Since its inception, we have steadily grown with Mommy And Me, Tots & Tutus classes, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater classes, our Pre-​Professional Academy Level Dance Program, Private Classes, Dance based Birthday Parties and Dance Camps. The Ballet Barre is conveniently located in Andover Township at the intersection of Limecrest and Newton — Sparta Road.
