Braun Moving & Storage

From my first phone call to Elsa at Braun moving to the last piece of furniture placed, my experience with Braun was fantastic! Our dates for moving kept changing due to our buyers, and Elsa was so flexible and agreeable to our situation. Diego and his team arrived when scheduled. They were incredibly professional and kind. We had to extend the move in due to the buyers, and Braun was wonderful.
All the staff was incredible. You must use Braun for your move!

Although my move was only 4 miles, door to door, it wasn’t the easiest move because my husband was in the hospital and I had to do this all myself. The men were professional and polite. They set up everything before they left and it looked as if I had lived here long before the move. Braun’s price was much lower than another estimate I received and it was done in 1 day instead of 2. I will say that they were late in getting to me because of truck trouble but they called to let me know they would be late. Even though they were late they were not in a rush to leave and everything was set up before they left.

My move itself was fine and the workers were very professional and courteous (and timely — they worked quickly!) However they broke the glass door of my China cabinet and basically refused to help get it fixed. I received a check for $ 58 (which I was told is the max I was entitled to based on the insurance coverage I selected that pays 60 cents per pound.) I was given a completely wrong estimate of what my China cabinet hutch weighs, and was paid based on this incorrect estimate. I was told a claims rep would contact me and come to my home. No one ever did. I spoke to a woman in their office that was quite rude and belligerent with me. She said she would «see what she could do» which translates into her doing nothing. I would not use them again based on this experience. Stand behind your work and help your customers when your employees make a mistake. Don’t blame the customer for not taking out more insurance.

We had s very experience with Braun. The crew worked hard and were literally running down my new driveway to get the next piece to unload. They didn’t mind moving a few things around at the end and got the job done quickly.

Had a three bedroom+ house of furniture to move from Brookfield to Farmington. From the beginning they were helpful and explained everything. Tom came out for my estimate and he was thorough and friendly and the estimate was spot on. Also the best price I got. Elsa in the office took over from there and she was always pleasant and answered every question. She even called during the day of the move to see if it was going well and what she could do.
Three very nice young men showed up exactly at 8 AM (I was told between 8 – 9 AM) walked me thru the house and started. I never saw them stop once, which is amazing since I paid by the hour. They took very good care of my furniture everything was padded and wrapped (better than a long distance move I made) Done at the Brookfield house about when I thought they would be. The move was over a half hour early and everything was where I wanted it and in perfect condition. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

They were terrific, for the first time ever the estimate is what we paid for moving. We were first referred to another mover located in Stamford and they dropped the ball. Braun came through for us.

Braun is by far the worse. I went to Ethan Allen in Danbury ct and Braun happens to keep their furniture in their warehouse. I purchased $ 23,000 in furniture and when I went to pay I told them I was moving to Florida so they introduced me to Braun who said they would take care to pack and put it in a containers until I wanted it moved. They said they would also price my move for my furniture at home so I went with them. They gave me the estimate and I demanded insurance as everything was inexpensive. They should me the est. with the ins. and it was to cover everything to full price refund or fix. When the truck got to my house in Fl they were 2 days late and when I entered the truck i found all the collectible bats and balls of all sorts unwrapped and rolling all over the truck. The new furniture was all damaged some to the point it could not be repaired as I had Ethan Allen rep come out. I took pictures of the inside of the truck and the furniture. They did not care it took months to get someone to get on the phone. When they finally got to me they lost the insurance paper and claimed the 1 I signed was no good because I did not put my initial on it when they came to move me from my house. I had lost $ 15,000 in furniture because they claim they only pay .15cents per pound for damaged items. Our china was broken my brand new furniture and all my collectibles that I had gotten with my son over the years were all damaged. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR GOODS. I AM WRITING THIS NOW AFTER 3 YEARS OF FIGHTING. JIM J
Yes it was bought at a yearly sale called the floor sale but it is not a scratch and dent sale. My wife is very paticular about furniture and we looked it all over before we bought and there was no scracthes or dents and we had the moving company verify it before they packed it up and put it in their wharehouse. That has nothing to do with the way they pack my collectable’s a Joe D ball autographed along with a multitude of other autographed bats helmets and other things that they were paid to pack and ship. When they got to my house the balls bats and a lot of my furniture and valuables were rolling all over the truck explain that to me I have the pictures. You still are a horrible shipping company regaurdless of what you say!!! For those that might think it is funny wait until it happens to you.
