We pride ourselves on using the freshest and highest quality all natural ingredients available. Our talented chefs bring years of culinary expertise and a commitment to preparing FRESH and healthful dishes using the finest ingredients from local growers and artisans, whenever possible.
Because the details make the difference, we slow-roast our meats and slice them right here in our own kitchen. We also make the spreads that dress our sandwiches, and of course we make our baked goods in house.
Our coffee is roasted by two premier CT Roasters. Our incredible breads are baked at some of New York City’s best bakeries and delivered to us daily along with our kettle water boiled Bagels.
Enjoy a cup of fresh brewed Coffee or Espresso and a fresh baked scone or croissant, pull up a seat and relax in our petit dining room or on the patio. There’s an exceptional variety of teas which are delicious both hot and iced as well. You can also take any of our meals to go, a perfect lunch or dinner to take home or back to the office.
On the weekends we serve REAL Belgium Liege Waffles from 9am — 2pm. Try a Walking waffle to go or savor one of our signature waffle creations.

History
Established in 2015.
Café Xpresso has been opened since March 2015 and reflects Chef Bob’s appreciation for deliciously prepared, fresh food to be savored and enjoyed with good company, in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Voted New Business of the Year in Newtown.

For Chef Bob, Café Xpresso is the culmination of a lifetime spent as a foodie. He has had a passion for food as long as he can remember. He even ran a food truck, before they were all the rage, after he graduated from UCONN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
He then spent most of his business career in industrial management and sold his business a few years ago.
When his wife left her job as a corporate event planner, they decided they wanted to get into the coffee business. Chef Bob emerged a man on a mission; his mission was to reinvent the quick serve food, to make it better and healthier, way better.
Their food and coffee is sourced from sustainable farms, picked at the peak of the season & roasted with experience and care. «If we wouldn’t want to eat it, we don’t serve it,» he elaborates.
