I wish I could give Goldberger zero stars. This man is out for money only. He put a cap on a tooth of mine and it immediately got infected after and have had a slight pain since. My insurance ran out and I even gave him money for one last cleaning and than he tried to charge me for an ex ray of the tooth that he infected. He also never gave me a choice in what kind of cap I wanted he just assumed I wanted a metal one and never asked me. Also the first response was«we can extract the tooth» after he looked at the black in he ex ray. I’ve spoken with multiple endodontis and that is a last resort that costs much more. I’m getting the infected tooth retreated. This man should be paying my bill.

AVOID — DONOTGOTOTHISDENTISTEVER. Is there an option for no stars on the ranking? Why is this dentist still allowed to practice? This dentist and the whole setup is very creepy, and he is clearly only out to make money in a completely unethical way. About 5 years ago, I went here when I first moved to town, and the whole experience was very odd. The office,(which i think is also his house) was deserted. The dentist told me I needed a crown and he had the receptionist print a piece of paper listing a price of multiple thousands of dollars on it and asked me to sign it right away. I did not and I have never been back there. 5 years later, through my 10 or so visits with my new dentist, I have NEVER needed a crown, or anything at all beyond normal cleanings, and the occasional repair of an old seal. The whole office seems like this really big façade, and so I wanted to post this review in order to warn others.

I don’t think I’ve ever gone on Unilocal to review a medical professional, but I absolutely had to share my experience with this dentist. Stay away. The office is poorly lit, and it feels dirty/shabby. When I went in, dental tools and equipment was strewn around in the small work cubbies. This fact alone should have tipped me off to the shoddy service that was to come. Dr. Goldberger did his examination before my cleaning. Every dentist I’ve ever been to has seen me after the hygienist has cleaned and done a cursory exam. Not here. He gave me an old hand mirror to look at my teeth while he hastily declared that I have small cavities in all of my molars and I would need all of them filled. Every. Single. One. I take ridiculously good care of my teeth, and I have never had a cavity. My last dental exam was 5 months prior to this visit. I am fairly certain that I did not go from zero to a bumper crop of cavities in that time frame. After my «exam,» I was walked to another chair and given the worst dental cleaning I’ve ever had. The hygienist(who chatted with the receptionist throughout the cleaning) spent 7 minutes TOPS on my teeth. She informed me that my teeth were in great shape and I was done. No cleaning below the gum line. No flossing. No checking of sealants. Nada. I did a better job with my toothbrush and floss that evening. When I went to leave, Dr. Goldberger informed me that he would submit the requests to my insurance company to have my many cavities filled. He said that they probably wouldn’t cover all of them, and if that was the case, I could just do them a few at a time until all of my molars/cavities had been drilled and filled. I left with the distinct impression that he was just after payment. The entire experience was bizarre and skeezy. I have already scheduled an appointment with another dentist(which will use up the remaining annual visit my insurance offers) to get a second opinion. I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t suggest this dental practice to anyone.

Believe the other review at your own risk. Again, it took me years to re-do the poor work Dr. Goldberger did. In fact, two other dentists were willing to sign off on letters stating that the work he did was subpar, and I should be entitled to some sort of refund. Ultimately, I never pursued this because I was too busy working @ Google at the time. Instead, I just want to warn others.
