Hampton Inn Niagara Falls

I am sorry to report that I am horrified with the abominable customer service at this hotel. My boyfriend and I bought a room for a night that claimed to have a whirlpool jacuzzi in the room, but we called the hotel before purchasing the room to double check. The employee assured us that the room we were about to purchase was the same as the deluxe king room with a jacuzzi (even though the room was not tagged as «deluxe» according to Priceline, which we also told the employee at the hotel at the time of the phone call). When we arrived to the hotel, the front desk employee told us the room did not have a jacuzzi, and was totally unhelpful and downright rude when we tried to fix the problem. We were willing to pay the difference between the cost of the king room and the deluxe king room, but the employee said we’d have to call Priceline, have Priceline call them, then buy another room. It was getting close to dinner time, and the hotel was dead with several rooms open. The front desk employee obviously did not value our business. Have you ever heard of customer service!?! To top it all off, they told us that one credit card declined the deposit for the room so we gave them a second card to try. It turns out that both cards had a $ 100 hold on them for more than a week. We will NOT be returning to Hampton Inn at Niagara.

Picked this hotel for an impromptu overnight with my wife and young daughter. The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The evening/​overnight manager was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean, well furnished, and modern. The bed was comfortable and the on-​demand tv programming had great options. The pool was great — good temp, not too strong with chlorine, plenty of clean towels. The wifi was fast and reliable. Breakfast the next morning was a treat — plenty of good choices in clean, welcoming breakfast area. Would definitely stay again.

Horrible service. Claimed I smoked in the room which was not the case. I got my money back Bc they knew they were wrong. So why take my money to begin with? I don’t even smoke.

I should be views as a guest of your property not as a customer. Remember this before you walk into work.

The room was clean. Service at the front was friendly and welcoming. I liked that the room were equipped with all the essentials like an iron, safe, microwave, refrigerator, etc. The bed mattress was nice, comfy and soft!. As soon as I laid down; I fell asleep! Enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was very clean and the free continental breakfast was better than most! We had to book very last minute for 4 adults and understand the only available room had only one bed and a sleeper sofa. The problem is that the sleeper sofa was so old! There were holes in the fabric and the mattress was a bag of springs. I have never seen such a bad mattress. There was absolutely no padding in it. To spite how nice the hotel is overall I cannot believe they’ve let these things go like that. Management should be downright embarrassed. The floor was more comfortable. One star for cleanliness and breakfast, a proper mattress on the sleeper sofa would had mad it 4.

There are some real dives and sketchy hotels in Niagara Falls on the US side. We had made reservations elsewhere, but as soon as we saw the original place we got on our phones looking for something «safer». Hampton Inn was able to get us a room right away — with early check in even! Their «concierge”/tour lady had EXCELLENT recommendations — the tiny Italian restaurant down the street was to die for, and the Italian bakery she recommended was just perfect. Not sure we will plan time on the US side of the falls again, but if we do I would stay at this hotel.

Great hotel. Customer service was great! They let us check in early. The hotel itself was very modern and clean. Nothing to complain about.

Pleasant mid range hotel, reasonably priced. Friendly welcoming front desk. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies at entrance. Convenient location. Clean rooms. Stayed in room 401 as recommended by other reviewers. Nice breakfast. Couldn’t be happier for a family getaway :)

To be honestly first came to the door the lady at the front desk was a pretty decent young woman if that makes any sense however I will say that our beds are flawed a fluffy soft mushy comfortable nice beds the interior is slight modern with a little bit of a rustic look to lead with a filthy brown looking curtains and decent flooring but all in all I’d write this a good three maybe a four star but this time I’m gonna go to three

Booked a room with a hot tub, received a room without a hot tub. The hotel blamed the issue on Expedia, and told us we’d have to call Expedia if we were unhappy. Would not have even gotten a room here if we knew this was the case. While the room is nice and the hotel seems fine, unfortunately I have trouble putting my faith in a business that so callously writes off issues as not their fault and offers no resolution on their end.

Decent mid range hotel. They gave me a AAA discount even though I didn’t have my card on me. There is free tea and coffee all day and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon and evening. I booked a room with a whirlpool tub for $ 135 a night which I thought was a good price. The room was very clean. The view from the side and back is terrible but then again Niagara Falls as a town is kind of run down. The hotel is very close to the park and falls. My room was well equipped with all the essentials.

Sorry… I like this place but when we checked in toilet had urine on seat, there was hair in sink and half a roll of toilet paper with no spare. All else was good.

Great rooms, great location and great staff. It was a wonderful night all around and the vibe of the hotel is very modern but comfortable.

Clean room, friendly staff and near everything. If I’m in the area again I will stay here. You are able to walk to the casino that is right up the street.

My wife and I made a trip to niagara last weekend. It was the first time for me in niagara and i had booked our room for two nights. However after the first day we realised we had done everything we wanted to do but the realization came to us way past check out time. My wife on a whim enquired with the front desk if we could check out even though it was past checkout time and what options would we have for a refund, atleast partially. The lady at the front desk was totally nice about it and checked with her manager and they gave us the entire second day refund which was totally awesome. I was totally blown away about how nice they were about it. It made this review a 5 star.

Great location. Friendly staff. Room was clean but pool and hot tub had so much chemical our eyes burned-​and we didn’t even go under water!!! The breakfast selection is better than most similar hotels. There was hot and cold cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, muffins and bagels and two egg choices plus turkey sausage. Definitely would stay again

This Hampton Inn was very close to Niagara Falls. The hotel was clean and the staff here were friendly. I was in the area for work and stayed here. This was almost like any other Hampton Inn I’ve been to. I had to wait until 4pm before my room was ready so I just stayed in the dining area and worked while my room was being prepared. My room was on the fifth floor and was not bad from what I saw. It appeared clean and was roomy. The view outside wasn’t great, but I wasn’t spending my time looking out the window. The wifi was free and the signal was strong from my room. Breakfast started from 6am-​10am and was good to get something in my stomach for the day. The parking lot was small in my opinion but I still managed to find parking in the evening. Overall, this hotel was not bad.

The hotel was extremely clean, the staff has been impeccable, they offer a very delicious continental breakfast. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate is serve throughout he entire day. Nice size indoor pool and spa. Walking distance from the falls and several restaurants.

We arrived late in the day after a long drive from NYC. We were checked in quickly and enjoyed a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The breakfast was as great and we didn’t have to leave the hotel. I liked that you could only get in with the key card after hours.
The hotel was about three blocks from the falls and across the street from the casino.
The breakfast in the morning did the trick for morning calories. Now the room, the beds were comfortable, the room was nice size, the tv was really nice but the bathroom, ensure it is clean, there were hairs in the tub. I did not call downstairs as one in our party was not feeling well but usually I would of called downstairs to get it vacuumed or swept a lot better as clearly it was not swept in-​between guests. Yes, I would stay there again if need be.
All in all I will say this place is really nice, the lobby is nice, the location is good enough for what we were there for.

Boyfriend and I stayed here from 04÷18÷11 to 04÷22÷11 and had a very pleasant experience overall. Checking in and out was a breeze! We booked a non-​smoking king bed & jacuzzi room for three nights and were able to extend our stay by one night, though we did have to switch rooms because the jacuzzi was all booked up for the weekend. The staff moved our luggage between rooms for us, and housekeeping finished with our new room early so that we could re-​check in before 4pm, the normal check in time. Both rooms were lovely and very clean. The jacuzzi was very clean as well and not creepy at all (something I was worried about).
All members of the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially one of the night-​time front desk girls whose name I cannot remember. I got sick one of the nights of our trip, and she was able to help my boyfriend figure out where he could get Gatorade and also told him she could assist us in finding medical care if it came to that (which it did not). Throughout the rest of the trip, we were able to get things like extra hangers and utensils with no problem.
Every morning from 6−10a, free «deluxe continental breakfast» is offered in the lobby. There were hot dishes that changed on a daily basis, and then cold things like breads, muffins, pastries, and bagels that stayed the same (or changed in regards to flavor… all blueberry muffins one day and chocolate another day, for example). Also available every day were yogurts, a make your own Belgian waffle thing, hard-​boiled eggs, and little boxes of cereal. The hot food was hit or miss, though. One day there was sausage gravy and biscuits with ham, but another day brought those gross sausage patties with high school cafeteria potatoes. Omelettes were offered twice, and they were clearly made with egg beaters and American cheese, which was kind of gross. Breakfast was also a bit of a struggle because there aren’t nearly enough tables in the lobby to accommodate the many families with many children running around!
Coffee and tea and available all day and all night long, which was really nice because boyfriend and I like to have tea at all hours of the day. Also available from mid/​late afternoon to 9 or 10p is soup and popcorn! We saw four different flavors in our four afternoons there, and the broccoli cheddar soup was by far the best! I suspect, however, that the communal food might’ve been how I got sick, because a few other people in the hotel were also sick the same night as me.
Overall, it was a very good experience and should I ever stay on the American side of the Falls again, I would definitely book another room here!
