One of the best B&Bs in America. 5 star quality service, accommodations, food, location, just marvelous and terrific price

This is an excellent hotel to stay at in Niagara Falls. We stayed in the English Room for three nights. The room has a queen bed, flat screen TV and dish network. The décor was quaint and very nice. Everyday they provided complimentary chocolates, bottled water and fruit. The bathroom was also well stocked with extra toothbrushes, razors and shaving cream. My only complaint was that our bathroom was super narrow, and the sink was tiny.

I found this place, on Unilocal and every review was 5 star so I guess I was expecting more… The service and breakfast was very good, if not excellent. The main floor of the house was nice and clean and our room was comfortable. The carpet upstairs looks hideous it needed to be replace 5 years ago. It’s stained and worn and looked very dirty. I wouldn’t of minded it if it looked like it fit the era of the house but it looked like a 70s throwback. The house needs restored or just a fresh coat of paint.

My husband and I just celebrated our second wedding anniversary with a stay at Hillcrest Inn. We couldn’t say enough excellent things about our stay!
We were met by Cassidy as soon as we arrived, which was about 4 hours before we really should have. She was kind enough to let us drop our things before we left to spend the day at Niagara-​on-​the-​Lake. We stayed in the French room. It was so comfortable, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and was very well maintained during our stay (exceeding expectations in that regard). It’s amazing how quickly the staff could slip in to turn down a bed while we were just downstairs enjoying a cup of tea!
With access to a majority of the house, I felt incredibly at home. It was nice to sit in the den, or on the patio, with a cup of tea or homemade pastry. Breakfast was simply wonderful. It definitely exceeded expectations and was enough to last a majority of the day, even fueled us for a 4-​hour hike.
Jennifer, who helped Cassidy keep the rooms and serve breakfast was such pleasure. Both women helped us with travel tips, recommended restaurants, and plenty of guides to take with us. They even went out of their way to call THREE post offices on our behalf to see if they’d ship bottles of wine back home for us. We even had the chance to meet Cassidy’s daughter who is an absolute joy to hi-​five and chat with.
Thank you to Cassidy and family — we will most certainly be back!

Not that this place needs more glorious reviews but I can’t help but add to the accolades.
I booked this B&B for a birthday trip to Niagara Falls. Never having visited the area before, I wasn’t sure where to stay. I made a careless choice and booked a room at the Seneca hotel only to have instant remorse and cancel it for this place. I was really excited to find a place that was reasonably priced and so close to the falls.
We received some unexpected news about a week before our stay and realized we would be traveling with our little one. I called the inn immediately to see if they would be able to accommodate. They were incredibly understanding and allowed us to add one more to our reservation for a small fee.
When we arrived I met Cassidy and her daughters, they were very sweet and we felt instantly at home. Cassidy was knowledgeable about the area and offered plenty of ideas on what to visit and places to eat.
The room was beautiful; better than the pictures. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were luxurious. There were complementary toiletries, snacks, and beverages. Breakfast in the morning was great. My son had a special breakfast made especially for him; buttermilk waffles and scrambled eggs.
We had so much fun that we didn’t want to leave! I wished I booked more than just one night.
If you are visiting the Niagara area, I highly recommend the Hillcrest Inn.

Wow, this B & B was great! Even better than we expected. Cassidy and crew were amazing, kind, helpful and friendly. Her kids were adorable too as they welcomed us into their home. They were more than accommodating and recommended things for us to do and many restaurants to try in the area. The room was immaculate and taken care of multiple times while we were out and about. The breakfasts were fantastic. Lemon ricotta pancakes, homemade granola, bacon and herbed eggs the first day. Second day we had poached pears with cognac berry sauce and authentic crepes as well as sausage and a veggie frittata. Everything was superb. So much so that we wish this was a B & every meal, not just breakfast, haha. So delicious! The house was close enough to walk to everything in the park and downtown area. Décor was beautiful and inviting. There was always tea and coffee and public space available to relax in. They even got us a taxi back to our train, so we didn’t have to deal with the hassle. Overall, this was a great place and exceeded all of our expectations. We would definitely recommend this place over a hotel when visiting niagara. It made our trip so much more meaningful, personal and we just wanted to thank everyone there for a wonderful time and for all of their generosity.

What a great place in Niagara Falls, NY… one very good reason to stay on the US side. Close to the Falls, walking distance! Rooms are very nice, bathroom is a bit small, but, hey, it is a B&B, not a chain motel!
The breakfast… oh my goodness! We had a baked pear with maple glaze… followed by a veggie frittata and chicken sausage…“breakfast dessert” was a fruit mix… oh wow! Who knows what tomorrow holds!
Service? The owners are great! Very friendly, attentive, caring… wow! Example… after a long day being tourists we were given glasses of red wine to wind down with… they did nOt have to do that, but they wanted our day to be complete!

Adorable little bed and breakfast! Comfortably close to the Falls (within walking distance). Very cute rooms with ridiculously comfy beds. The staff is very attentive! For breakfast, they served us chicken sausage, scrambled eggs with chives and cherry tomatoes, and little pancakes with figs. So tasty. Stay here! Cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic place about sums it up in my book. I have never stayed in bed and breakfast so I was little unsure if it’s going to be a hit or a miss. CLEAN is what I noticed first, place is clean and has a very relaxing feel. It has a old look to it, yet its modern in its own way. Breakfast was very nice too.
Convenient location, you can walk everywhere.

If you are interested in a weekend get-​away to the American side of Niagra Falls, Hillcrest Inn is the place to stay. The accommodations are amazing, the view is fantastic and the food, wonderful.
My wife and I stayed here last year during the winter as a means of getting away and relaxing. We had such a splendid time. The best part is you are a five minute walk from the falls and though it may be extremely cold in the winter, the view of the falls is to die for.
Go at night to see the falls illuminated in red and green and you simply won’t forget it.
We also made a stop in Buffalo to do some shopping upon the suggestion of the owner and couldn’t have had a better time.

Absolutely incredible. Cassidy was the perfect host and her little girl is adorable. I can’t wait to stay again.

How could I not give this place five stars. The bedroom was amazing, the breakfast was also amazing. Walking distance to anywhere we needed to go in Niagara and the host was able to tell us places we should for sure visit. I am not sure we would of had as amazing of a time had she not. I am not sure when I will be back but when I am I will pay this place a visit

Wonderful! Just got back from Niagara falls for my anniversary with the girlfriend. Our stay at the Hillcrest Inn was simply amazing!
The inn is a 5 minute walk from Goat Island (the island between the American and Canadian Falls), and a 15 minute walk away from the Rainbow Bridge over to Canada.
The house itself is a Georgian style mansion that had been renovated just over three years ago, when the current owners (a young couple with a very cute 3 year old daughter) moved in.
Cassidy is the perfect host… giving us lots of information about the local attractions and restaurants.
Saving the best for last is the scrumptious breakfasts that Cassidy and her husband prepared. Each day we were greeted by gourmet meals (one day we had crème brûlée French toast, poached egg, and thick slices of hickory smoked bacon, the second we had crepes, potato hash, and a scrambled egg with chive). Delicious!

Wow. Where to begin? I just don’t think I could say enough good things about Cassidy and the Hillcrest Inn. Let me start off by saying my wife and I have stayed in A LOT of B&B’s around the US and Europe… and this one is the best by far. Lets talk about the house first. Its gorgeous! the guest areas are beautiful, and surprisingly, filled with pictures of her family. This might bother some people but I really found it charming. The bedrooms are amazing. We stayed in the Hillcrest Suite with its fourposter bed and fantastic bathroom but the others were great too (we were there alone on our first night so she showed us around). The location id fantastic. Its away from the busy part of the city and it looks right over the upper rapids and the upper end of Goat Island. It is literally a 5 minute walk (a beautiful one I might add) to Goat Island, and you could reach the falls in under 10 minutes.
The food is unbelievable. She made us Crème Brulee French Toast and blueberry scones our second morning and I thought I had gone to heaven. She even made extras for our trip home.
The service is fantastic. The stairs creak so she can hear you coming down and she is always right there to offer advice or anything else you need. She knows the area well so she always has ideas about what to do. She suggested we take a trip up to Niagara-​on-​the-​Lake. We had never heard of it and we are very glad we didn’t miss it. I think that this is my one area where I have a complaint… she cleans too much!!! She unpacked out clothes for us, put everything away… she even folded my dirty laundry including my dirty underwear! So, if that will bother you, make sure you do something with it.
Now for the hostess. Cassidy has got to be one of the sweetest people we have ever met. We spent several hours just talking with her everyday… by the time we left, we felt like we were leaving an old friend. I think it helped that we have both spent a great deal of time traveling the world (We have lived in Germany). She has been to Europe, she lived in Japan, etc. It gave us something in common but I tend to think that people who spend a lot of time traveling outside their home country share a kind of kinship. Maybe its just me. I love that she had a daughter the same age as our oldest. Isabella is so cute. We have been told that next time (not if) we visit we must bring our daughter.

Cassidy and her daughter Isabella host such wonderful accommodations. The downstairs guest living areas are absolutely beautiful. Clean and spacious with a «younger» antique feel. The living room boasts a gas fireplace and two great seating areas. There is also an enclosed sunroom with great lighting and seating as well as a selection of teas and coffee.
I found it so easy to sit by the fire with the house’s classical music in the background and do work.
I stayed in the Hillcrest Suite — comfortable bed, great private bath and a lot of personal touches.
Your also within walking distance of the falls & Goat Island.
Cassidy is a wonderful hostess. This place is definitely worth the lost Starwood points! Truly embodies a great B & B experience!
