Whenever you call Super 8 you are connected to book through their corporate office. The woman that booked our reservation guaranteed that there was a shuttle from the Buffalo Airport to this hotel, and then another that ran to the falls. I am traveling with a five person group, so I thought this would be a nice convenience. I called to find out if there was also a shuttle that ran to the train station, but something told me I’d better contact the location directly. After listening to them give their stupid sales pitch about saving fifty dollars for the one millionth time I finally got the number. Good thing I called because the man on the phone informed me that there was NO much shuttle service and that the trolley that ran to the falls only ran on the weekends. He said, and I quote, «If you booked through the corporate line they probably just told you anything you want to hear to get you to book a room.» Needless to say I am EXTREMELY irritated and now with the trip only a few weeks away I have to go find a new hotel and probably set up a rental car. I do not work with companies that outright lie to you. I will never book Super 8 again.

Clean, super friendly atmosphere! The front desk attendant Robert went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Not a 5 star hotel by any means but for the price– it was DEFINITELY worth it. OH– and make sure you try the Belgian waffles for breakfast. You get to make them yourself!

We stayed there last week and I must say it was our best one to date. We stay there 3 times a year. In November it wasn’t a pleasant experience, the WiFi didn’t work, we heard every word our next door and above neighbours said and the T.V. had very few channels. This time, it was totally different. The WiFi worked(the man at the front desk said they had upgraded it), our neighbours were very quiet and only heard them cough or laugh once in a while(I noticed there is a sign at the front desk to say to keep the noise down from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and we really enjoyed the T.V.(They must have upgraded that too). We will definitely be back in August! All the staff were very friendly there too(wish I could say that about the sales people in the stores there — noticed they were extremely rude this time)

I slept in a bed so I got what I needed but I was with an old woman and a new born baby and we asked if there’s an elevator but they didn’t offer any assistance or anything. They gave us a super hot room and then they switched us after we had set up the baby crib, put away our things instead of trying to fix it or really looking at it. You get free breakfast and free things are good so it’s cool!

I am currently staying in this hotel. I booked a room online the day before, and the hotel had 3.7 out of 5 rating so I thought I would give it a try. Being a super 8, I was a little scared from the get go, but the lobby seemed clean and I had my hopes up. We came in the back and the stench of stale smoke and BO was strong in the halls. The carpets had clearly not been vacuumed in some time, and there was a lot of small debris all along the hallways. We were in the smoking room section, so I thought maybe it would be better in our room. Although a slight improvement from the hallway, our room still smells like stale smoke and the bathroom curtain reeks like mildew. I will NEVER come to a motel 8 again. I feel horrible for having brought my girlfriend to stay here. We are counting down til we can leave!

It was honestly not that bad. I went with my family of four, and we were fine. The hallway stinked of smoke but it didn’t travel into the room. If you want a cheap place for a night or two, its worth it.

I there was a choice of zero stars that’s what I would Have given this hotel. The staff was bot courteous i bought non smoking room and was thrown in with my family in a smoking room. Had rowdy neighbors and when I told the hotel staff next morning I got attitude rather than a sorry for this. I have bow learned my lesson no super 8 motel

Got this motel off a Hotwire deal. Not a great motel but it fulfilled our needs. The only notable thing to occur was during our checkin. My partner and I were told that we would be given a room with two beds because we «obviously» wouldn’t want a one bed room. I advised him that it wasn’t necessary but thanked him anyway. He also seem to ask a lot of personal questions as to who we were visiting in town and how old the kids were we were visiting. Niagara seemed to be a hostile environment in general to our«Modern Family» appearance, but I could never really pin point an exact case of homophobia. Once we checked in there were no other service issues or questions. As for the pool, it should be resurfaced as it is very rough and easy to scrape yourself. Overall we got what we paid for, no real complaints.

First of all this place is extremely overpriced for the kind of rooms they are offering. It seems like the same guy behind the desk is always there from the previous reviews and he was there during my stay as well. He is very rude and would be reason enough not to come back to this place. They did not have any rooms with 2 double beds which were non smoking so we ended up in a smoking room. Thankfully the room did not smell as bad as I expected it to although the hallway did reek pretty badly of smoke.

Good: easy distance from the falls, free in-room Internet, front desk guy gave us a deal, lots of food options near by, free continental breakfast. Bad: had to get new blanket because it had hair on it… new«clean» blanket had hair too, you have to pay to use the business center, Niagra Falls, NY is just a dirty town. It’s cheap for a reason.

While this Super 8 was better than the one in York, I wouldn’t recommend it especially if you have kids. The lobby was clean but we got stuck with a smoking room which smelled HORRIBLE! There was a pool which was very small in the front of the hotel… right next to the parking lot for the lobby… not exactly safe for kids. The wireless internet did not work even though they advertise«free wi-fi» everywhere. Not a place I would ever stay at again.

Wow, I don’t see how this place can charge what it does and get away with it. Vacation in Niagara starts with a smoking room because the front desk says they have nothing else. This is a pretty decent sized Super 8 and there is NO non-smoking rooms? Please! The pool is the size of a large jacuzzi and looks like 50% urine and 50% chlorine. The wireless internet did not work the entire 3 day stay here. The guy at the front desk claimed that he called the internet provider but I doubt it. This place is overpriced and lacks serious amenities. Worst continental breakfast ever, crappy rooms… then again it’s a Super 8 so I had to expect such things.
