Niagara Science Museum, in its relatively short operating history and unusual location, is gaining quite a reputation. Since its 2009 inception, the press has taken notice, with regular articles in The Buffalo News, The Niagara Gazette, and others. As its online presence grows through its website, which presents online exhibits highlighting the museum’s artifacts and activities, other online communities have highlighted its unique, important, and eccentric approach to the history of science. Most notably, in 2010, the museum was highlighted including Listverse (‘Top 10 Museums for Geeks’), Atlas Obscura (‘The aim of the museum is to evoke the same «sense of awe and discovery’), TripAdvisor.com (presently the #4 attraction in the Niagara Falls region), and Yelp.com, amongst others.
