We are a small home hostel and guesthouse for Niagara Falls travelers who prefer affordable and comfortable accommodations in a warm, friendly environment to the sterile, lonely atmospheres of expensive hotels and motels.

Our guests love meeting new people and are open to shared accommodations and communal living.

History

Established in 2009.

After spending 20+ years in corporate America, it was time for a change. As an avid budget traveler, I have stayed in many hostels. One in particular in Whitehorse, Yukon inspired me and I thought it was something I could do.

Thus the new adventure began in Niagara Falls with the renovation of a 100+ year old house. The goal was to create a place that I would want to stay and come back to and I think that I’ve succeeded. The business opened in March of 2009.

Sehr geniale Unterkunft! Es geht schon damit los, dass man eine super Beratung bekommt, was man sich in welcher Reihenfolge angucken sollte und diese Tipps sind schon viel Geld wert. Also auf keinen Fall vorher irgendeine Führung buchen! Zu Fuss kann man alles prima erreichen und in der Küche selber kochen. Das spart noch einmal. Morgens gibt es leckeren Pancake ***kostenlos***. Mir gefiel besonders die liebevolle Art, wie alles eingerichtet ist. Wir waren mit der Familie da und hatten ein eigenes Zimmer. Ansonsten ist man in einem Zimmer mit vier Personen. Einfach toll und sehr zu empfehlen.

Yesterday I stayed with two friends at Wanderfalls Guesthouse for the night and this was my first experience in a hostel. I was very surprised with how comfortable and pleasant our stay was! Carroll was incredibly friendly and helpful when we checked in, giving us plenty of helpful advice and time/​money saving tips. The hostel was clean and the kitchen/​common room were both convenient to have at night if you’re not ready to sleep yet or if you’re hungry and want to make some food! My friends and I stayed in the female only dorm; there were 3 of us and one other guest in the room. The bunk beds were roomy enough and the rooms were well kept. In the morning, Andre made a delicious pancake breakfast that we enjoyed out on the front porch with some coffee. The only improvement I can think of would be more bathrooms, as the hostel was full and we did have to wait a couple of times, but after all that is usually an expected part of the experience. Overall our stay was far better than I expected and I really enjoyed my first hostel experience. Thank you Wanderfalls!
PS don’t forget towels! (But if you do, renting one is only a dollar.)

Great place to stay in Niagara Falls!
Pros:

I stayed in a dorm with a friend of mine, and since we visited in off-​season we had the room to ourselves! It would have been a little cramped with four people and their luggage (which was capacity), but was perfect for the two of us.
Carroll and Andre, the owners and hosts are great people, very friendly and helpful. We were driving up from West Point and arriving late at night. Carroll made arrangements for us to check in after-​hours, and it was super easy. She greeted us in the morning and gave us a map and great tips on the attractions, while Andre made us pancakes. I would certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.
Things to note:
— There is only one bathroom with a shower, and it is shared amongst the rooms. Theres another half-​bath in the hostel, but only one with a shower.
— The house is old, though the furnishings are new and in good condition. If you’re looking for a hostel, this is perfect. If you’re looking for a plush B&B, this probably won’t be enough for you.

My girlfriend and I spent one day and one night in Niagara Falls and we went to Wanderfalls Guesthouse.
Andre & Caroll were just awesome, full of great advice and incredbly helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggages to their place even after checking-​out so that we didn’t have to carry them while visiting the falls. They took us to our bus station for a price a lot cheaper than the cab. It saved us from a lot of hassle!
The guesthouse itself is really nice and comfy. The chambers were nice, and the guests when we were there were cool too. Living room and kitchen are for everyone to use and it’s really nice. Free pancakes, coffee and tea in the morning!
It’s also located from walking distance from Niagara Falls and that’s really convenient.
We couldn’t have find a better place :)

This was one of the best hostels my daughter and I stayed at during our 45 day summer road trip. It feels like you’re staying at an (unobtrusive) family member’s home. A small fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room, a covered front porch, an enclosed back yard (complete with picnic table)…full of character. Very friendly owner and manager. A great bargain. My guess is that it’s one of the better places to stay in town.

This hostel is excellent. It has a kitchen that anyone can use full of cooking implements. Besides the bedrooms, there are also a dining room, living room, and computer with internet. It is an easy walk to the Falls and the rest of town.
Carroll, who runs the hostel, is very friendly and helpful. She has plenty of maps and brochures and was able to suggest places to go besides the Falls (such as Fort Niagara and Whirlpool State Park). She showed us where the closest grocery store was, the easiest route to the Falls, and other things to make our stay easier.
The only downside is that there are only two bathrooms. But while we were there people staggered their showers enough that this wasn’t really too much of an issue. One of the bathrooms is actually separated into two rooms (toilet and shower), which helped.
