I love this place. Fast, friendly service and delicious, savory breakfast sandwiches. Reasonably priced for the quality. I’ve never dined in but it’s got a great atmosphere. They also have Ashlawn Farms(locally roasted) coffee which is my favorite coffee in the world!

Great little place and the owners are fantastic people. Ive tried everything on the menu it ranges from good to excellent. Wish they would update the menu or run more specials, only because I’m a regular and I know the new stuff would be great.

The atmosphere, the people and especially the wide range of freshly prepared food. Daily specials and the out of this world«REAL» coffee(with a wide range of flavors) have made this establishment a local favorite and if your visiting from out of town, do yourself a favor and experience one of Niantic, Connecticut’s finest. You will not be disappointed.

Great service and great character. Coffee and casual dining. Fairly limited seating. Been here twice now when looking for a bite to eat after going to book barn(it’s within easy walking distance of the mid-town location). Both times I’ve been very impressed with the food. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

First time visit, recommended by a friend. Service was engaging and friendly. Food came out at an average rate for freshly made but the flavors and freshness were outta the park! Try the curried shrimp butternut bisque, do yourself a favor and buy the bowl! Delish! Ate outside, ambiance was so cozy!

By far, my favorite place in town. I’ve tried the Triple B(black bean wrap), Tuna Melt, The Dip(veggies and hummus), a lentil soup, and one breakfast wrap(don’t remember the name). All have been delicious and obviously made with fresh ingredients. When you eat good food you feel satisfied and energized. This is how I always feel after eating here!

Saturday morning Stop is a must. This place is small but cozy. Their coffee is really good and the variety of breakfast sandwiches, veggies and fruit sides make it even better. The outside seating and the breeze from being so close to the beach makes it all very perfect. They have friendly and energetic staff there and free wifi!

Based on previous reviews, I chose Café Sol for my lunch destination, before heading over to McCook Point beach. What a cute café & patio! I had a tough time deciding whether to get breakfast or lunch, so I went for the smoked salmon everything bagel/sandwich. The bagel was piled with cream cheese, yellow & red tomato slices, very fresh smoked salmon, red onion pieces & capers. It was delicious! My drink was lemonade, which tasted like it had just been freshly squeezed & was the perfect drink for a sunny, hot afternoon. The service was quick and the staff friendly! Since it was a beautiful day, I sat outside on the patio and admired the flowers, lots of zinnas, still in bloom. I only wish that they would have put up a few of the table umbrellas since the sun was out full force. I just wish that Café Sol were not so far away from where I live. However, I will definitely be back to try some of the awesome sounding sandwiches.

Excellent food. I got the Reuben which was incredible. The corned beef melted in my mouth and the flavor was absolutely perfect! My wife got the BLaT which was also very delicious. We will be coming back.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while traveling through town. The guy behind the counter was super helpful with directions and suggestions. We both ordered sandwiches and were pleased with the flavors and uniqueness. Perfect to get some food before the beach or to hangout on their outdoor patio. Table next to us was raving about their coffee but we didn’t have any. Highly reccomended. They should have a deli case with their salads so you can order by the pound because the potato salad with the olives was delicious.

Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. They also have an awesome outdoor patio to enjoy your lunch during warmers months. I always order their Trueben sandwich was is definitely a favorite of mine. The bread is pretty amazing & I love their unique twist on a simple sandwich. I also got to finish my wife’s BLT with advocado & it was pretty tasty. When I’m in the area I make a point to stop by for lunch. It’s kid friendly & they serve breakfast too. Bonus points for playing WEHM on the radio the last time I was in!
