Not very good. Been here twice, didn’t like the first time but decided to give another try. Definitely not a steak place. It was charred to a crisp on the outside and still rare on the inside. Only reason for two stars is service was decent.

Not too bad… but not too good, either. Never had a server there that wasn’t a bit pretentious. Food is OK, drinks are pricey, décor is interesting. LOUDAS A FACTORYFLOOR. Not sure the world really needs another Applebee’s clone

I was disappointed in the steak it was a low quality cut of meat for the price service and atmosphere was good and happy hour prices were good

Great place for casual good food! Nothing fancy just done right. Friendly staff, good vibe and lots of space. Kid friendly which is a plus. Table are spaced apart perfect… You don’t feel crowed even when they are. Good food options. Something for everyone… Pizza looks amazing. Wings. Salmon is excellent! Staff is super friendly they were a little slow this day but a true professional.

The food is ok but it is extremely loud in this restaurant. Even when it is not busy so bring ear plugs. A step up from an Applebee’s but I’d rather go to Applebee’s to save my hearing. Customer service needs lots and lots of work, very poor. Don’t think I’ll be back.

This place is a higher class Applebee’s or TGI Fridays. Food– They offer a specialty Burger[Bigfoots mother in law] that is HUGE, but good. The Burger is topped with Ham, shrimp, cheese and all the veggies! Also they have smoked wings that are worth a try if you are in the mood. Service– It can be hit or miss. Sometimes I have had great service that was quick and easy other times server messed up order or the kitchen is slow. Overall good place if your in the area. The burger is a must try. You will leave full!

My mother and I went there on Sunday. I’ve been before when they first opened and was not impressed. But now we decided to give it a try. As an appetizer we ordered the crab dip. All I can say is double yum! It was hot and delicious the bread could have been better but that’s a little thing. We both ordered the ribeye and it was looked perfectly and was smoking hot! Totally worth what you pay and they just gained a regular!

So good. For the appetizer I had the cheesy spinach and artichoke dip. Ermagerd! They even refilled the garlic toasts for freee. Then I had the grilled chicken salad. It was perfect with the artichokes. I can’t wait to go back!

I second Rob B’s recommendation of the salmon. Out of this world! I also found the wine selection to be above average quality. Tasty wings. Good portions. I’ll be back next time in town.

Decent meals both times we’ve went. Service can be a little bit slow. An okay restaurant for the Nicholasville area.

Some of the food is unique.(Bigfoots Mother n law) the food is good to a point. It’s just everything taste the same. That’s why it only gets 3 stars.

Anytime that I am passing through Nicholasville, I try and make it an opportunity to dine at Copper River Grill. And I only order one item there: The Hickory Fired Salmon. It is marinated, fire-roasted on a smoked cedar plank and drizzled with a Honey Teriyaki glaze, and it is delicious. Their side dinner salad is also consistently good.(Order the Honey-Mustard/Hot Bacon Dressing, trust me!) On my most recent visit I also ordered the Cinnamon Apple Crumb Cobbler. The apple portion was cold. The waitress ultimately replaced it with a slightly, and only slightly warmer version, but it is still not something I would order again. I wish there was a Copper River Grill in Lexington. If so, I would eat there far more often.

This was our dinner spot on one of our nights in Lexington, and we were kind of underwhelmed. It was enjoyable, but not impressive. The menu items seem to be really appealing and appetizing, but when they arrive, they’re just so-so. Edible, but not anything special. The house salads, however, are impressive. Theyre huge compared to house salads elsewhere, and they are full of flavor(eggs, almonds, ham, bacon, etc. it’s loaded!). Maybe it’s because we ate here after all of our other incredible experiences, and the bar was just set too high, maybe. Regardless, we ate our meals with no real complaints, but it’s just not a place I’d be sure to return to if we find ourselves in the area again. There are PLENTY of other, better options around.

Visited a half-dozen times. Whether with family or out-of-town guests, everyone has been satisfied with their selections from salads to burgers to fish to pasta to steaks. The service has always been quick and professional. Our favorite server is Shawn; A big man with a big heart who always makes you feel welcome! My hands-down favorite menu item? BIGFOOT’S MOTHER-IN-LAW™ Giant burger patty, grilled ham, crispy-fried shrimp, Monterrey Jack, remoulade sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onions & pickles.

It’s a nice change of pace and close to my house so I’ve been here several times. The food is good but could be better if it wasn’t so heavy. It’s as though most items are over-the-top greasy/buttery. However, they do have some of the best Chicken Tenders I’ve had. I LOVE the rustic cabin-like atmosphere.

I am not a fan of the restaurant, it is a chain and you can tell! We have gone three times in two years, and I have not been overly impressed with anything we have ever had. Last time we came here I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly and it was pretty tasty, def better than it had been previously. My husband ordered the blackened chicken pasta and it was not that bad, pretty flavorful and the sauce was not overly thick or drowning the pasta. I think the food is a bit pricey for the quality and quantity but that is just me. I do like that nicholasville at least has one restaurant that they can go to. Hopefully we will get more options soon though. Copper River is kind of the beaten path and can be easily forgotten about

I’ve been here a handful of Times. They have really good house salads that have almonds, eggs, tomatoes in them. It’s nice to come here for a change of scenery. I think I’ve only had their steak. Friday night I had the NY strip special. It was a nice cut of meat however it didn’t have any seasoning on it. The sweet potato was huge but I would suggest a different topping. I like brown sugar and cinnamon on my sweet potatoes, but what they serve is some kind of sweet liquid mixture that I wasn’t a fan of. Next time I guess I should venture out to try something else on the menu.

Have eaten here a half dozen times, always at the bar, on my own. Food is fine. Not anything exceptional, but predictable and generally ok. Service varies. I’ve waited for my check(even after pulling cash or credit out, next to my(not cleared) place, far longer than what is reasonable(i.e. longer than an hour — seriously)). And the excuse? «Oh, I didn’t know you were here.’ Because apparently, I’m invisible. Prolly because I’m not old or male enough for the bartender to GAF. Things get even worse when one tries to pay with anything other than cash, ‘no change & no time’…at least at the bar. Good luck. But, honestly, that’s nothing to having to overhear the ‘mating calls’ of retirees for a 20-something bartender… Hand-ear-eye sanitizer, anyone? Food isn’t anything special(though certainly fine), and given the seriously igmo service(and creepy /stalky apparent bar«regulars’), would not recommend.

Our waiter was Robbie. He has been there longer than anyone else. He was very nice, attentive, professional. However, I think they may have named the Firecracker Shrimp after him though… lol. I think if I had a few drinks in me I would’ve had a blast with him. He seems very fun. This was our first time here and will not be our last. I had the Blackened Salmon. It was ok. The house salads with house dressing are to die for! My husband shared the pizza with our 7 yr old. It was really good stone cooked pizza. Yummy. The manager, Beck, came over and talked to our 7 yr old when he was pouting that he didn’t want pizza. She was so sweet. Then he tried the pizza and ate every bite of the cheese pizza! Hey if my kid loves it, that means a bunch.

For our third trip to Copper River Grill, we had Robert, a veteran who made our night fun and comfortable. The food was great, and I tried something away from my usual which is Bigfoot’s Mother-in-law. The firecracker shrimp Mac and cheese was different, but delicious. It’s not o e of those dishes that a lot of people will truly like, but i love spicy food and it was a tad salty and that was what hit my spot. My wife loves the bacon and honey mustard house dressing they make. Great time all around.
